An information processing apparatus is connected to a client apparatus and an image forming apparatus, the information processing apparatus including a large capacity memory device; a common interface device; a reception part compatible with the common interface device; and a transmission part compatible with the common interface device, wherein the reception part receives data for an image forming request from the client apparatus via the common interface device and stores the data on the large capacity memory device, and the transmission part transmits the data for the image forming request stored on the large capacity memory device to the image forming apparatus via the common interface device.

An information processing device includes a processing unit which manages an association processing network formed by image processing devices. The processing unit includes a service evaluation content generating unit which acquires requirement performance information of a service to be stored from a service requirement performance managing unit and generates an evaluation content to be evaluated for the service by including the requirement performance information in an evaluation object, a service evaluation unit which evaluates the evaluation content of the service according to a predetermined requirement, and an association object managing unit which registers the service as a new association object the evaluation content of the service the predetermined requirement of which has been met by the evaluation of the service evaluation unit.
Abstract:
When a log-in is accepted at an image processing apparatus (for example, an MFP), a user terminal logged-in with the same log-in information is searched for, and information related to applications being active on that terminal is obtained. An interaction processing key indicative of an application related to a basic function selected as a function to be used is displayed out of the applications. When the user selects the interaction processing key to execute the desired processing, the MFP requests a job to the user terminal to execute the processing interactively with the corresponding application.

The present invention is directed to providing an imaging apparatus that can determine an imaging scene of an input image with high accuracy. The imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit configured to image an object image and output image data, a determination unit configured to, based on the image data, perform determination processing for determining an imaging scene of the image data output from the imaging unit, an acquisition unit configured to acquire imaging information related to a condition for imaging the image data including location information about the imaging apparatus, and a communication unit configured to transmit the imaging information to an external device and receives auxiliary information for supporting determination of the imaging scene of the image data corresponding to the imaging information. The determination unit performs the determination processing based on the auxiliary information received via the communication unit.

The position and orientation at a time of shooting by a shooting unit of a portable terminal is transmitted to an information processing apparatus. Based on the transmitted position and orientation of the portable terminal and the stored position of an image processing apparatus, the information processing apparatus extracts an image processing apparatus from the shot image and transmits information about the extracted image processing apparatus to the portable terminal. The portable terminal combines the shot image with an option for selecting a function available in the image processing apparatus and displays the combined image on a display unit, based on the information transmitted from the information processing apparatus. When selection of a function is accepted, a screen for operating the selected function is displayed on the display unit of the portable terminal.

In a document distribution system, a storage unit stores distribution destination setup information including a filtering setup item for filtering document data and a process setup item indicating processes permitted on a distribution destination device. A distribution unit distributes document data based on distribution setup information. An acquisition unit acquires information of document data from a distribution destination device. A filtering unit filters the acquired document data based on the filtering setup item. A display control unit performs display control of a screen of screen data generated based on the process setup item of the distribution destination setup information and the information of the document data.

Image data stored in a server can be easily removed therefrom by use of a communication terminal. There are included a communication terminal for transmitting an acquired image data and a server for storing the image data received from the communication terminal. The communication terminal transmits an acquired image data to the server, displays abbreviated data which allows the image data to be identified and the data amount of which is smaller than the data amount of the image data. And, when having accepted, from the exterior, a removal of the image data instructed by designating the displayed abbreviated data, the communication terminal requests the server to remove the image data corresponding to the abbreviated data. The server stores, into a database provided therein, the image data received from the communication terminal. And, when having been requested, by the communication terminal, to remove the image data, the server removes the image data from the database.
