Abstract:
A filter device has, in a housing, a filter element and, downstream of the filter element, an outflow opening for discharging the cleaned medium. Between the filter element and the outflow opening there is arranged a diverting part, wherein on the diverting part there is formed an overflow region for the flow of the medium from the filter element to the outflow opening, and the outflow opening is situated at the same level as or below the overflow region.
Abstract:
An apparatus having a threaded bottom assembly for interfacing to connect the bottom assembly to a second structure with threads, having a bi-stable element that, when sufficient force is applied via the process of threading the bottom assembly to the second structure, and at an appropriate torque value, passes from its first minima state, through its maxima state, and to its second minima state, creating a tactile or audible indication that the apparatus has been properly installed.
Abstract:
A filter subassembly is disclosed. The filter subassembly includes an end cap connected to a ring of memory material. The end cap includes a tube-shaped body, a first ring-shaped body, a second ring-shaped body and a third ring-shaped body. The tube-shaped body is defined by an inner radial surface, an outer radial surface, a first axial surface and a second axial surface. The inner radial surface defines a passage extending through the tube-shaped body. The first ring-shaped body extends axially away from the first axial surface of the tube-shaped in a first axial direction. The second ring-shaped body extends axially away from a second axial surface of the tube-shaped body in a second axial direction that is opposite the first axial direction. The third ring-shaped body extends axially away from the second axial surface of the tube-shaped body in the second axial direction that is opposite the first axial direction. Each of the first ring-shaped body, the second ring-shaped body and the third ring-shaped body are defined by an inner radial surface, an outer radial surface and an axial surface that connects the inner radial surface to the outer radial surface. One or both of the first axial surface of the tube-shaped body and the inner radial surface of the first ring-shaped body is disposed adjacent the ring of memory material. The second axial surface of the tube-shaped body, the inner radial surface of the second ring-shaped body and the outer radial surface of the third ring-shaped body collectively define a ring-shaped filter media receiving channel. A filer assembly is also disclosed. An assembly is also disclosed. A filter is also disclosed. A method is also disclosed.

Abstract:
An exchangeable filter has a filter housing, a filter element, and a connecting member arranged at a filter housing end face. A filter-associated connecting part of a connecting device detachably connects the exchangeable filter with a filter head of a filter device by a plug-in/rotary movement. A filter-associated locking part of a locking device locks the connecting device in a locked state automatically and releasably by the plug-in/rotary movement with a head-associated locking part of the locking device provided at the filter head. The filter-associated locking part has a latching section latching with a head-associated latching section of the head-associated locking part. The filter-associated locking part has a support section on a side of the filter-associated locking part facing away radially from the filter-associated latching section. The support section radially supports the filter-associated locking part relative to the circumferential section of the filter housing in the locked state.
