    Abstract: A keyswitch support connection structure incudes a bottom plate portion, a cantilever plate, and a joining portion. The cantilever plate extends upward from a joining hole of the bottom plate portion and has a holding structure. The joining portion and the joining hole are firmly engaged with each other. The joining portion encapsulates the holding structure. The joining portion and the bottom plate portion jointly form or the joining portion alone forms a support connection portion. A keyswitch structure includes a base, a keycap above the base, and first and second keyswitch supports connected to and between the keycap and the base. The base includes the above keyswitch support connection structure. The first keyswitch support is rotatably connected to the support connection portion.

    Abstract: An optical keyswitch includes a keycap, a supporting mechanism having a protrusion disposed under the keycap to support the keycap to move downward or upward, and a switch module including a circuit board, an emitter, and a receiver. The emitter and the receiver are electrically connected to the circuit board. The emitter emits an optical signal to the receiver. When the keycap is not pressed, the receiver receives the optical signal of a first intensity. When the keycap is pressed, the protrusion moves along with the keycap, and the protrusion changes the optical signal received by the receiver to have a second intensity different from the first intensity, so the switch module is triggered to generate a triggering signal.

    Abstract: An input device includes a wheel supporting structure, a scroll wheel, a hook part, a linking part, and a switching mechanism. The scroll wheel is rotatably supported by the wheel supporting structure, is exposed from the input device, and has a rotary shaft with a plurality of toothed slots thereon. The hook part is disposed biased on the wheel supporting structure to selectively engage with the toothed slots. The linking part is pivotally connected to the wheel supporting structure. The switching mechanism includes an abutting part and a switching part. The abutting part abuts against the linking part. The switching part is coupled to the abutting part. Therein, the switching mechanism is operable to move the abutting part through the switching part to rotate the linking part to abut against and move the hook part to disengage from the toothed slots.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating a keyboard covering film is provided. The method includes steps of: coating a transparent plastic material on an upper surface of a fabric layer before the transparent plastic material is cured; treating the fabric layer and the transparent plastic material by a hot press process to cure the transparent plastic material to form a transparent layer and to make the transparent layer and the fabric layer jointly form a number of keycap receiving sections; forming a mask layer on a lower surface of the fabric layer; removing a portion of the mask layer and a portion of the fabric layer located within each of the keycap receiving sections to form a number of hollow patterns.

    Abstract: A key switch includes a base, a key cap, a first support member and a second support member. The key cap is disposed with respect to the base. The first support member and the second support member are disposed between the key cap and the base. The first support member has a first linkage structure. The second support member has a second linkage structure. The first linkage structure and the second linkage structure abut against each other, such that the first support member and the second support member rotate synchronously with respect to a horizontal axis. When one of the first support member and the second support member horizontally moves with respect to the other one of the first support member and the second support member within a predetermined range along the horizontal axis, the first linkage structure and the second linkage structure keep abutting against each other.

    Abstract: A keyswitch includes a keycap, first and second base plate, a supporting device, and a bracket. The keycap moves between an upward position and a downward position through the supporting device. The bracket is movably disposed between the keycap and the first base. The second base plate is disposed opposite to the first base plate and moves between an operation position and a storage position. When the second base plate is located at the operation position, the bracket abuts against a supporting portion of the second base plate, and a magnetic attraction force produced by two magnetic areas of the first base plate and the bracket respectively keeps the keycap at the upward position. When the second base plate is located at the storage position, the bracket is separated from the supporting portion, and the magnetic attraction force keeps the keycap at the downward position.

    Abstract: A keyswitch structure includes a base plate, a keycap, a lift mechanism connecting the keycap and the base plate, a movable part movably disposed relative to the base plate, a linking support, and a magnetic part on the base plate. The linking support has a pivotal connection portion, a magnetic portion, and a driving portion. The magnetic part and the magnetic portion produce a magnetic attraction force therebetween. When the movable part is located at a first position, the pivotal connection portion is rotatably disposed on a protruding portion of the movable part, and the magnetic attraction force drives the keycap through the linking support to move away relative to the keycap. When the movable part moves from the first position to a second position, the protruding portion moves away, so that the pivotal connection portion falls down and the keycap moves toward the base plate.

    Abstract: A key switch includes a key cap, a base, a support device and a bracket. The base has a first magnetic area. The support device is disposed between the key cap and the base. The bracket is movably connected to the support device. The bracket has a second magnetic area corresponding to the first magnetic area. When the key cap is not pressed, a magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic areas keeps the key cap at a non-pressed position. When the key cap is pressed by an external force, the key cap moves with the support device from the non-pressed position to a pressed position. When the external force is released, the second magnetic area moves toward the first magnetic area due to the magnetic attraction force, such that the key cap moves with the support device from the pressed position to the non-pressed position.

    Abstract: A keyswitch structure includes a keycap, a base, and two supports pivotally connected to each other relative to a rotation axis and connected to and between the keycap and the base. One of the supports includes a first shaft recess, a first shaft portion, and a division slot formed therebetween; the other support includes a second shaft recess, a second shaft portion, and a division wall therebetween. The two supports are pivotally connected relative to the rotation axis by the first shaft portion and the second shaft portion rotatably disposed in the first shaft recess and the second shaft recess respectively. Therein, the division wall is inserted into the division slot. The keycap can move up and down relative to the base through the two supports.
