Abstract:
An apparatus comprises a base portion comprising an aperture for receiving an organ of a user and a base support member extending downward. The base portion moves along a track. A pivotable and slidable cross member is joined to the base support member. A frame supports the base portion. The frame is joined to the track for moving the base portion relative to the frame. A first support member extends in a downward direction for a first distance. A second support member extends in a downward direction for a second shorter distance. A guide joins ends of the first support member and the second support member. A T-shaped member sliding on the guide is in engagement with the cross member wherein the user engaging the base portion and moving the base portion along the track imparts a lateral movement on the base portion.
Abstract:
A clitoral stimulator features first and second contact members, at least one of which is supported for back and forth movement relative to the other of said first and second contact members in a longitudinal direction. Each contact member has a respective contact surface on side thereof facing toward the other in a lateral direction lying transverse to the longitudinal direction. The respective contact surfaces are separated or separable by a sufficient distance to accommodate a user's clitoris between the respective contact surfaces of said first and second contact members with said respective contact surfaces in contact with the user's clitoris at opposing sides thereof. An actuation mechanism is operable to drive the back and forth movement to perform a rolling action the user's clitoris between the stimulation members.
Abstract:
A device for sexual stimulation of the human body, the device including a phallus-shaped stimulation body. The thickness and/or the length of the stimulation body is variable in regions. The stimulation body has a preferably exchangeable stimulation element to permit the regional variation of the thickness, and the stimulation element is movable in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the stimulation body and/or in the circumferential direction of the stimulation body. The stimulation element expediently has at least one magnetic holding device, preferably a permanent magnet, and at least one magnetic carrier for the stimulation element is arranged movably inside the stimulation body.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a two-degree-of-freedom planar rehabilitating, monitoring and/or evaluating device comprising a first guiding mechanism (2), a second guiding mechanism (3), substantially parallel to the first guiding mechanism (2), a third guiding mechanism (4), substantially perpendicular to the first and second guiding mechanisms (2, 3), and an end-effector (5), wherein the third guiding mechanism (4) is connected to the first and second guiding mechanisms (2, 3), and wherein the end-effector (5) is connected to the third guiding mechanism (4). The present invention also relates to a two-degree-of-freedom planar rehabilitating, monitoring and/or evaluating interactive device adapted for rehabilitation, monitoring and/or assessment of the upper limbs of a subject, comprising said device.
Abstract:
An exoskeleton comprises a torso brace, configured to be coupled to a torso of a user, and a leg support, configured to be coupled to a leg of the user. A plurality of links couples the torso brace to the leg support. The plurality of links includes a first link, coupled to the torso brace at a first pivot point, and a second link, coupled to the leg support at a second pivot point. The first link is coupled to the second link through a third pivot point located between the first and second pivot points. The first pivot point enables adduction of the leg support, and the third pivot point enables abduction of the leg support.
Abstract:
A relaxation device includes a base, a support structure connected to the base, a seating portion and a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism is coupled to the seating portion and moves the seating portion in a manner replicating the gate of a walking horse. Persons with autism spectrum disorders and other conditions may utilize the device as a method of relaxation to lessen certain behaviors and characteristics associated with such conditions.
Abstract:
Active wearable body brace embodiments provide selectable conformation control of the interface between the trunk of a human subject and the brace, which conformation may be varied over time and responsively to feedback and an updateable prescription. Further active wearable body brace embodiments provide selectable movement control of the interface between the trunk of a human subject and the brace with up to six degrees of freedom between elements to allow a controller to implement operations such as muscle challenges, active support, and passive-like support where actuators mimic springs. Further embodiments may also provide detection functions such as quantifying muscle weakness. The features of these embodiments may be combined in various ways to provide still further embodiments.
Abstract:
A reciprocal treatment device. The reciprocal treatment device includes a battery, a motor, a trigger, an actuated output, and a treatment structure. The trigger is in electrical communication with the battery and the motor. The trigger selectively provides power from the battery to the motor. The actuated output is operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor. The treatment structure is operatively connected to the actuated output.
Abstract:
Devices and methods for performing CPR on a patient within an imaging field of an imaging device. The device has a compression belt and a belt tensioning mechanism, both located on or in the device such that the head, neck, thorax and abdomen of the patient may be place within the imaging field with the compression belt installed about the patient and the belt tensioning mechanism will be located outside of the imaging field.
Abstract:
A tilting inversion exerciser includes a supporting stand having a primary frame and an auxiliary frame, the primary frame includes two posts, two barrels on the posts, two shafts attached to the barrels, a carrier attached to the shafts for supporting a supporting table, and an actuator is coupled between one of the shafts and one of the posts and includes a release valve for releasing the actuator when the release valve is depressed and actuated, and for locking the actuator when the release valve is released. The user may easily actuate the release valve to release and to lock the actuator without applying much force or energy to rotate the carrier and the supporting table relative to the supporting stand.
