Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes a storage unit configured to store a plurality of device link profiles corresponding to a combination of color space information of an input device, a viewing condition, and a color conversion method. The image processing apparatus determines whether the stored device link profiles are to be used according to the set color conversion method. If it is determined that the device link profiles are to be used, the image processing apparatus selects one of the plurality of device link profiles according to the color space information of the input device.
Abstract:
A portable terminal apparatus has a first application and a cooperation application installed thereon. The portable terminal apparatus includes a display; a communication portion that performs communication with a job execution apparatus; an obtaining portion that obtains user information objects and settings information objects from the job execution apparatus; a screen data generator that generates job execution screens on the basis of the obtained information objects; a connecting portion that connects each of the screens to the cooperation application and a calling information object; a calling portion that calls the cooperation application by specifying the calling information object, the calling information object including the user information object of a user who operates the first application; and a display controller that identifies a screen connected to the calling information object including the user information object of the user who operates the first application and makes the display show the identified screen.
Abstract:
Virtual setting values for a specific image forming apparatus are generated using a model-dependent setting value schema which defines a schema of model-dependent setting values in each of a plurality of image forming apparatuses and tenant setting values required to commonly set setting values for the plurality of image forming apparatuses. The virtual setting values are held and managed.
Abstract:
A personal computer holds data of a plurality of types in a content storage unit and transfers items of data related across the types of data to a digital camera as group data. The digital camera stores the group data, which is received from the personal computer, in a content memory unit.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus that makes it easy for a user to input an image from an image input apparatus. The information processing apparatus executes a search script received from a server apparatus to thereby obtain identification information for identifying the image input apparatus, transfers the identification information to the server apparatus, and executes a scan script sent from the server apparatus in reply to the identification information to thereby display a scan setting screen. The information processing apparatus transmits to the server apparatus a scan setting message when scan settings are made on the screen, receives a scan job message transmitted from the server apparatus in reply to the scan setting message, gives a scan job command to the image input apparatus to cause the image input apparatus to execute scanning, and transfers image data received from the image input apparatus to the server apparatus.
Abstract:
The present invention can provide an image processing system in which a job setting screen is displayed on a local apparatus in consideration of the capabilities of the local apparatus and a remote apparatus when a plurality of image processing apparatuses cooperatively execute a job. To accomplish this, in the present image processing system, the local apparatus acquires function information on the remote apparatus when the plurality of image processing apparatuses executes one job in cooperation. Furthermore, the local apparatus controls the display contents of a setting screen used when an operator sets a job setting in order to restrict a job function based on the acquired function information and function information on the local apparatus itself.
Abstract:
In an image forming apparatus, guidance information is stored in advance for guiding an optimal operation procedure for execution of a job, and the guidance information is displayed on a display portion based on operation input that is input to an input portion in order to execute a job of image formation. For example, a device control portion compares operation input that is input to the input portion in order to execute the job of image formation to the guidance information corresponding to the job executed by the operation input, and causes the display portion to display the guidance information in a case where an actual frequency of operation input is greater than a frequency of operation input that is specified in an operation procedure of the guidance information.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus including an operation panel has, as a configuration of the operation panel, a display portion including a function to display environmental label information of the image forming apparatus. The environmental label information includes information on a type of greenhouse effect gases (CO2) and a total emission amount of the greenhouse effect gases in a life cycle of the image forming apparatus. On the display portion, there is provided a selective display portion for displaying an environmental label as list display or thumbnail display, as well as selectively displaying detailed information of the environmental label according to the environmental label.
Abstract:
The image forming apparatus of the present invention includes an image forming main device which has a control section. The control section (a) obtains, from an external device via a communication device, option information indicative of an at least one optional device and eco-information indicative of an amount of greenhouse-gas emitted due to the at least one optional device, (b) controls a display device to display the option information and the eco-information, and (c) sends, to the external device via the communication device, an order for an optional device selected by a user via the input device out of the at least one optional device indicated by the option information displayed on the display device.
Abstract:
This invention has as its object to allow an authentication process that avoids unnecessary information from being stored in a digital camera irrespective of whether or not a digital camera connected to the printer has a direct print function. To this end, in this invention, in an early stage of connection between a digital camera DSC and PD printer, the PD printer side requests an object which contains a keyword as authentication information of those which are stored and held by the DSC (S29). As a result, after it is determined the returned information contains authentication information, the printer notifies the DSC of its own authentication information (S33).
