Abstract:
A second terminal sends a request to initiate a communication session with a first terminal to a server. The server signals the first terminal to initiate the communication session. The first terminal determines an offset amount based upon the redirection timer information. The offset amount is added to or subtracted from a redirection timer value to determine a modified redirection timer value that takes into account time that elapses between messaging exchanged between the server and the first terminal that affects the first terminal determination of an amount of time remaining in a redirection timer of the server such that the determined modified redirection timer value is equal in value or substantially equal in value to the amount of time remaining in the redirection timer of the server.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal having a push-to-talk (PTT) function, including: a controller that, upon detection of an operation for terminating a predefined call mode, maintains the predefined call mode for a period of predefined time, and terminates the predefined call mode upon elapse of the period; a display that displays remaining time to termination of the predefined call mode; and a remaining time changer that, upon detection of an operation for changing the remaining time, changes the remaining time according to the operation for changing the remaining time.
Abstract:
A system and method for presenting caller ID information related to a caption assisted telephone call incorporating a first party Network appliance, a first party telephone service/terminal, and a relay linkable to the first party Network appliance via the Internet.
Abstract:
A transaction is received in a contact center. The transaction can be an email, an incoming call, an outgoing call, a video call, a text message, and/or the like. A best agent is determined to handle the transaction. A time is determined for the best agent to handle the transaction. The time can be based on a projected time that the agent will be able to handle the transaction, based on a callback time or any criteria. A schedule of the best agent is searched. The schedule of the best agent contains a movable event. A movable event can be any event that can be rescheduled, such as a break. When it is determined that the time for the best agent to handle the transaction is during and/or close to the movable event, the movable event is rescheduled to allow the best agent to handle the transaction.
Abstract:
A method for managing visual voicemail messages includes displaying a list of voicemail messages on a telecommunications handset, receiving user commands for operating on the voicemail messages including a delete message command and in response to a delete message command, marking a voicemail message for deletion with a delete timestamp and moving the voicemail message to a Deleted Messages folder. A Deleted Message Age Indicator function processes to control permanent deletion of voicemail messages in the Deleted Messages folder based on delete timestamps and a global Delete Time value in cooperation with a visual voicemail platform.
Abstract:
A method of measuring a call delay time by synchronizing times of a replaying part and a recording part in a call delay time measuring device using an interrupting hardware method. The method includes reading an original WAV file when a replaying CPU receives a command, waiting for writing to a DAC buffer of a replaying CODEC, transferring a signal of recording-ready to a recording CPU, generating a recording WAV file by the recording CPU, waiting for reading from an ADC buffer of a recording CODEC, transferring a signal of complete recording-ready to the replaying CPU, recording the original WAV file, replaying the original WAV file and simultaneously transferring a signal of recording-start to the recording CPU, and reading audio data from the ADC buffer of the recording part by the recording CPU and recording the audio data to the recording WAV file.
Abstract:
A system and method for presenting caller ID information related to a caption assisted telephone call incorporating a first party Network appliance, a first party telephone service/terminal, and a relay linkable to the first party Network appliance via the Internet.
Abstract:
A method for minimizing delays in web conference switches between presenters and applications may include receiving a key frame of content selected by a user for sharing in response to the user being a presenter and having content to share. The method may also include storing the key frame of the selected content in a buffer in response to the user not being a current presenter. The method may additionally include sharing the key frame of the content with participants of the web conference, by the processing device, in response to an indication that a previous presenter has completed his presentation and the user being a next presenter in a presenter queue.
Abstract:
When a first user is leaving a voicemail while a second user is attempting to call the first user back, the first user is given the option to ignore the second caller, delete the voicemail and connect with the second user, or hold while the second user reviews the voicemail. The voicemail may or may not be complete. This may avoid the need for the first user to repeat the information contained in the voicemail. In one embodiment, the voicemail message is played on the second user's device as a ring-back tone.
Abstract:
A server (10) is connected to a terminal (13) for an operator and a terminal (12) for a manager through a network (14), receives operation situation data representing the operation situation of the terminal (13) transmitted from the terminal (13) together with the seat ID, creates display data for displaying an image of the seat layout representing the operation situation different with the type of the received operation situation data according to the seat ID from the layout data read out of a storage unit (120) of the server (10), and transmits the display data to the terminal (12).
