Abstract:
A vibroacoustic system includes a shell having a plurality of transducers mounted in an energy transmitting relation thereto. The transducers receive input signals having distinct wave characteristics and drive the shell to simultaneously produce both a vibratory experience effected by a tactile stimulus and an auditory experience effected by an aural stimulus.
Abstract:
An apparatus which provides various functions for physical and/or mental relaxation, as well as for health care of a user, and a method of implementing the apparatus, include downloading personal data of the user from a user terminal to a personally customized bed and controlling one or more functions of the personally customized bed based on the personal data.
Abstract:
An energy-enhanced health-promoting glove structure is disclosed, wherein a glove body is provided with an energy-generating material that is distributed on at least one surface of the glove body at different densities and over different extents in accordance with a distribution density of acupuncture points on a human hand and requirements in selecting the acupuncture points on the hand, so that stimulating and regulating effects of various strengths can be produced at different meridians and acupuncture points of the hand. In addition, the glove body remains perfectly soft in areas that need not produce such effects and therefore provides a more comfortable wearing experience.
Abstract:
A sexual stimulation device having an outer skin containing heated, raised ridges surrounding an internal mechanism including two housings, a drive motor, a disc mechanically engaged with the drive motor, a shaft having a planar surface with substantially perpendicular protrusions attached at one end, and angled surfaces attached to the inner surface of at least one of the housings. As the motor and disc rotate, the shaft is translated laterally, pushing the attached planar surface and disc towards the angled surfaces, causing at least one of the housings to expand, thereby increasing the surface area of the surrounding outer skin.
Abstract:
A magnetic acupuncture needle combining the treatments of magnetic therapy and acupuncture by affecting the natural magnetic bio-field of energy of the patient's body and attracting it to the target point of treatment.
Abstract:
The present invention is a portable integrated sound, physioacoustic, and colored light apparatus. This is a self-contained electrically powered device designed to stimulate and facilitate the human body's innate self-healing mechanisms. The active components are housed in a portable pyramidal-shaped lower enclosure (100) with a single recessed panel (102) on one side of the unit containing a user interface for controlling the pitch and tonal quality of the generated sound and physioacoustic frequencies. The unit also contains specified colored light elements situated under a quartz crystal pyramid capstone (108) which react with the sound frequencies by increasing and decreasing in intensity. The user or therapist has the capability to access the electronically generated sound source to achieve a wide variety of tonal sound and vibrational components, as well as the ability to select the desired colored light therapy component.
Abstract:
A therapeutic device and method for use thereof for treatment of blood flow disorders is disclosed. In one embodiment, a first line emergency response system for treatment of acute thrombotic and/or vasospastic vascular obstructions via the noninvasive application of low frequency vibration with at least one, and preferably a plurality of randomly administered vibratory waveform characteristics (herein after “Randomic Vibration”) is detailed. The disclosed apparatus and methods are based on the intuition that transcutaneously imparted low frequency randomic vibration can provide enhanced clot disruption and mixing of clot disruptive agents to acutely thrombosed vessels, due to the addition of mechanical chaos via non-regular, multi-vectored convection currents. In a preferred embodiment, the disclosed apparatus and methods preferably utilize randomic vibration as an adjunct to systemically administered drug therapy, most preferably intravenously administered thrombolytic drug therapy.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transdermal drug delivery to be provided to a patient's skin, includes performing a dermabrasion treatment of the patient's skin so as to lower a skin impedance to below a first value. It also includes providing at least one burst of electrical pulses to the patient's skin that has been dermabrasion treated, wherein each pulses in the at least one burst of electrical pulses is stabilized with respect to a current amount.
Abstract:
A massage tool includes a handle, which has a cylinder provided for holding, a barrel hole going through the cylinder; a first barrel, which has a barrel body inserted into the barrel hole of the handle, a chamber formed concaved on the barrel body, a fitting hole opened downwards from the bottom of the chamber; a toe, which has a shoulder received in the chamber of the first barrel; a second barrel, which has a barrel body inserted into the barrel hole of the handle; the massage tool which assembled via above structure is convenient for use and holding; further, the massage tool can includes a skirt, which has a skirt body mounted on the handle, the second barrel and the skirt mounted at least two fingers or a palm; and a magnet group received in the chamber of the first barrel; thereby, the invention can assembled variety of massage tool, the magnet group generating magnetic field improve human body blood circulation, and the toe or the finger to proceed pressing.
Abstract:
A therapeutic module for relieving pain and providing a curative healing effect includes a motor for rotating at least one magnet to generate a magnetic field, micro-vibrations and audible acoustic tones. A shaft couples the at least one magnet to the motor. The at least one magnet is coupled to the shaft in an offset configuration with respect to a centerline of the shaft thereby generating micro-vibrations in the form of oscillating inertial loads. The therapeutic module includes a light source for generating a photonic light field in an optical light spectrum.
