Abstract: An electrical connector mounted on a PCB includes: an housing comprising a base, a mating tongue and a mounting portion, each surface of the mating tongue defining twelve terminal positions P1 through P12; two rows of terminals, each terminal including a mating portion, a leg portion and a middle portion connecting with the mating portion and the leg portion, each leg portion defining a soldering pad. Each row of terminals include grounding terminals in terminal positions P1, P12, power terminals in terminal positions P4, P9, and there are no terminals set in terminal positions P2, P3, P10, P11. The soldering pads of the two rows of terminals are arranged in one row and at least two grounding terminals or two power terminals aligned with each other in a vertical direction are located side by side so as to share a same pad defined on the PCB.

Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes a housing comprising a rear base and a mating tongue extending forward from the base; a row of upper terminals and a row of lower terminals retained on the housing, each terminal including a contacting section exposed to mating tongue and a pin leg section from the base, and the contacting sections of the upper and lower terminals being aligned with each in a vertical direction. The contacting sections of each row terminals are arranged in different central pitch, the pin leg sections of the upper and lower terminals are aligned with each in a front and back direction and the pin leg sections of each row are arranged with a same central pitch.

Abstract: A plug connector includes a connector body defining a front mating cavity with a first inner side and a second inner side opposite to the first inner side, and a rear cable supporting platform with a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first inner side and a plurality of terminals. The terminals include two rows of contacting sections arranged along the first and second inner sides of the mating cavity and soldering legs extending to the platform to be welded to a cable. The soldering legs are arranged in one row and exposing to the first surface of the platform while the second surface of the platform has no soldering legs to be welded to the cable.

Abstract: An electrical connector comprising a first terminal assembly and a second terminal assembly which are formed on a same metal material. The first and the second terminal assemblies respectively comprise a plurality of first and second conductive terminals. The plurality of first and second conductive terminals respectively connect with each other by a first contact carrier and a second contact carrier which are connected by a third contact carrier formed on the metal material. Bending the third contact carrier at 180 degrees such that the first and the second terminal assemblies are arranged in parallel and up-and-down to each other. Providing an insulating material injecting molding on the first and the second terminal assemblies to form an insulating housing. Cutting and dislodging the first, the second and the third contact carriers to forming the electrical connector. The electrical connector is simple in manufacture and low in production cost.
