Abstract: Robots and apparatus, systems and methods for powering robots are disclosed. A disclosed conductive floor to power a robot on the floor includes a plurality of stationary conductors positioned in a pattern and a power delivery circuit to cause adjacent ones of the conductors to have different electrical potentials, the adjacent ones of the conductors to form a circuit to deliver power to the robot via contacts formed in a bottom surface of the robot.

Abstract: Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can be configured to include a substrate, a heat source on the substrate, and a heat pipe. The heat pipe includes a plurality of bumps that extend from the heat pipe towards the substrate but do not come into contact with the substrate. The bumps are configured to help mitigate radio frequency interference in the electronic device. More specifically, the bumps can be configured to provide a resonant frequency in a specific radio frequency band and act as a radio frequency filter.

An example apparatus includes a sensor to gather environmental data and an analyzer in communication with the sensor. In this example, the analyzer is to identify an anchor site based on the environmental data and produce an assessment of stability of the anchor site based on the environmental data and model data. The example apparatus also includes one or more actuators to deploy a securing device in response to the assessment of the analyzer indicating the anchor site is stable and to deploy the safety equipment.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a processor includes at least one core to execute instructions and a power control logic to receive power capability information from a plurality of devices to couple to the processor and allocate a platform power budget to the devices, set a first power level for the devices at which the corresponding device is allocated to be powered, communicate the first power level to the devices, and dynamically reduce a first power to be allocated to a first device and increase a second power to be allocated to a second device responsive to a request from the second device for a higher power level.
