Provided is an electric kitchen appliance including a housing which contains an electric motor connected to an upper drive output, a work chamber comprising a work container sealed by a lid with a chute for inserting food, the work container having a discharge outlet, a removable pressing screw which can be rotated by the upper drive output being arranged in the work chamber. Rotation of the pressing screw is provided by a rotary element removably mounted in the work chamber, the rotary element including a pre-cutting disc and a driving member which is rotated by the upper drive output.

The thyristor control pulse generator consists of a dual slope sawtooth signal generator (11, 13, 17) providing a signal U.sub.sy with slopes a and 2a, said sawtooth generator comprising an input (23) for resetting the signal to zero in response to each generated pulse .theta. and means (15) for controlling the switching of the signal slope from value a to value 2a at the time the current in the reactive power regulating inductor becomes cancelled. A comparator (19) compares said signal U.sub.sy to a control voltage U.alpha. to which a correcting signal .DELTA.U.alpha. is added in a summing circuit (21), which correcting signal is developed from the means value of the current i in the inductor, given by an integrator (36) receiving at its input an image of said current, said image being taken from the output of another integrator (24) which receives the image U of the voltage across the terminals of the inductor at its input and includes a circuit (26 to 33) for resetting and holding its output to zero when no current is flowing in the inductor. The present invention relates to a photocatalytic film including at least one polymer layer (1) including at least one photocatalyst, said layer being pervious to both the vapors of at least one fumigating compound and ultraviolet radiation capable of activating the photocatalyst. The present invention also relates to a method for treatment by fumigation using said photocatalytic film and at least one fumigant.

The present invention concerns steam generators and a heating unit consisting of a tube (21) for circulating water in a connecting column (3) arranged below a reservoir (1). The heating unit is characterized by having two parts (A, B) each including a portion of the circulating tube (21) to form two heating areas, the first part (A) being slightly angled and extending downwards from the connecting column (3) in the direction of the water flow, the second part (B) extending upwards to convey water to the dispensing member (10). A machine for making hot beverages composed of a chamber having at least one water outlet, a filter holder located beneath the chamber holding a mass of ground product, a water distribution member disposed below the water outlet for directing water onto the surface of the ground product contained in the filter holder, the water distribution member being provided with a plurality of perforations for conducting water into the filter holder, and a device for regulating the distribution of water into the filter holder. The water distribution member is composed of a plate having a center and a periphery, and a plurality of walls extending upwardly from the plate to divide the member into a plurality of individual sections, and the plate is provided with a plurality of water passage perforations each located in one of the sections. The member and the chamber are mounted in the machine in a relatively movable manner for establishing a desired relative position of the water outlet above the individual sections.

An electric beverage maker comprising: a water reservoir; a water delivery tube for conducting hot water from the reservoir; a water distribution chamber located above a location of a filter holder and disposed for receiving water from the water delivery tube, the chamber being provided with a water outlet opening; a water recycling conduit providing a water flow path between the water distribution chamber and the reservoir; and a valve for blocking or unblocking the water outlet opening for permitting, when the water outlet opening is blocked, recycling of water via the recycling conduit, the improvement wherein the recycling conduit is constituted by a guide member forming a channel enclosing the water delivery tube.
