Abstract:
The invention concerns a composition for use in particular as odorant of a gas fuel, more particularly of natural gas, comprising: 0.1 to 49.9 particles by weight of at least one alkyl sulphur (I) of formula: R1—S—R2, wherein R1 and R2, identical or different, represent: an alkyl radical comprising 1 to 4 carbon atom; or R1 and R2 together with the sulfur atom to which they are bound represent a saturated or unsaturated ring including 3 to 5 carbon atoms, optionally substituted by a C1-C4 alkyl or C1-C4 alkenyl; 50 to 99.8 parts by weight of at least two alkyl acrylates (II) the alkyl radicals of which comprise 1 to 12 carbon atoms, preferably 1 to 8: 0.001 parts by weight of at least compound (III) inhibiting polymerization of the alkyl acrylates (II).
Abstract:
Provided is an electric kitchen appliance including a housing which contains an electric motor connected to an upper drive output, a work chamber comprising a work container sealed by a lid with a chute for inserting food, the work container having a discharge outlet, a removable pressing screw which can be rotated by the upper drive output being arranged in the work chamber. Rotation of the pressing screw is provided by a rotary element removably mounted in the work chamber, the rotary element including a pre-cutting disc and a driving member which is rotated by the upper drive output.
Abstract:
The invention concerns an espresso coffeemaker having a removable water reservoir (4) connected to a main hydraulic circuit including a pump which sucks up water from the reservoir (4) and sends it into a heating unit and hence through the ground coffee contained in a filter-holder, said reservoir (4) being also connected to a return water hydraulic circuit exiting from the heating unit. The invention is characterized in that the device (28) connecting said reservoir (4) to said hydraulic circuits comprises means for expanding (49) the water jet returning through the hydraulic circuit to the reservoir and means for directing (44) said jet to a storage zone.
Abstract:
A device generates a signal corresponding to a variable magnitude associated with the reactive power of an arc furnace, in order to control a reactive power compensator. It comprises a reactive power or voltage demodulator and a set of filters connected to the output of the demodulator. The set of filters comprises active bandstop filters having a bandwidth of .+-.F relative to frequencies of 2f.sub.O, 4f.sub.O and 6f.sub.O and narrowband active bandstop filters having a bandwidth of substantially .+-.2 Hz relative to frequencies of f.sub.O and 3f.sub.O. f.sub.O is the supply frequency and F is approximately f.sub.O /2. The device further comprises a phase advance corrector circuit operative in the frequency band O-F connected to the output of the set of filters.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a photocatalytic film including at least one polymer layer (1) including at least one photocatalyst, said layer being pervious to both the vapours of at least one fumigating compound and ultraviolet radiation capable of activating the photocatalyst. The present invention also relates to a method for treatment by fumigation using said photocatalytic film and at least one fumigant.
Abstract:
Mixture to be employed specifically as an agent for adding an odour to a gaseous combustible fuel such as natural gas, consisting of: at least one alkyl acrylate (I) of which the alkyl radicals contain from one to 12 carbon atoms; at least on compound of formula (II) in a quantity sufficient to inhibit the polymerization of the alkyl acrylate or acrylates (I) in the presence and/or absence of oxygen.
Abstract:
A process for the treatment of natural discoloration in an article, particularly a vinyl chloride polymer article, by treating the surface of the article in ambient air with a first organic solution containing an organic peroxide and a first organic solvent. The invention process is particularly useful for vinyl chloride-based articles that have undergone pinking.

Abstract:
Electrical household appliance for culinary preparation, of the food processor type having a body forming a base to receive a working receptacle in which can be disposed a rotatable working element driven by a motor disposed in the body, a lid to close the working receptacle, and a mechanism for locking the lid on the working receptacle. The mechanism has jaws movably mounted on the body between a locking position in which they engage the lid to block it vertically and an unlocking position in which the lid can be withdrawn, these jaws being movable against at least one restoring member toward one of the two positions. The appliance further has an unlocking mechanism movably mounted on the body between a rest position in which the jaws are able to lock the lid on the receptacle, and an active position in which the jaws are brought into their unlocking position.
Abstract:
Provided is an electrical kitchen appliance including a pressing screw rotated about a substantially vertical axis in a work chamber having a food insertion chute communicating with the upper end of the pressing screw, and a discharge outlet. The pressing screw includes at least two main threads providing at least two separate passages for inserting food, each main thread having a lower face extending over at least one quarter of the circumference of the pressing screw.
