Abstract: A compact and versatile power meter is created through the use of a discrete component network providing for phased splitting and combining of signals obtained at taps along a transmission conduit having a predefined phase separation. The use of the discrete component network eliminates the need for bulky waveguides or microstrip antenna designs, the latter providing phase shift through their physical dimensions.

Abstract: A medical zero emission waste system comprising a medical waste treatment unit that couples to a medical facility. The medical waste treatment unit is onsite to the medical facility for processing medical waste generated by the medical facility. The medical waste treatment unit comprises a gasification reactor, a syngas treatment unit, and a synthetic fuel generator for treating and converting medical waste. The synthetic fuel generator comprises an electrolysis unit and a liquid fuel synthesis unit. The medical waste treatment unit converts the medical waste to synthetic fuel, gaseous fuel, oxygen, heat, slag, and other components that are useful to the medical facility or other entities. The medical waste treatment system uses carbon dioxide generated during a medical waste conversion process thereby producing substantially zero emissions and eliminating medical waste that could be harmful to the environment.

Abstract: A zero emission waste system comprising a waste treatment unit that couples to a facility. Abstract: A high-powered microwave torch provides a tunable cavity to move between a first and second mode for ignition and steady-state operation. The tuning may be accomplished by adjusting end plates of a cylindrical cavity consistent with a desired TE01δ resonant mode. A swirl promoting spacer system allows cantilevered coaxial tubes to accommodate gas flow rates, and a junction between the tube assembly and a plasma nozzle provides a compression engagement resistant to temperature-expansion induced stress.
