Abstract:
A pressure- and vacuum-moldable foam sheeting, consisting of a foam layer, on which is applied a decorative layer, and optionally a primer layer as well as additional layers, for lining the interior of vehicles, is described. It is distinguished owing to the fact that the foam layer has a) a density of approximately 25 to 200 kg/m.sup.3, b) an elongation at break according to DIN 53571 of at least about 50% and c) a compression hardness according to DIN 53577 of at least 50 kPa (at 50% deformation). Preferably, the foam layer consists of a polyolefin. This vacuum-and pressure-moldable foam sheeting does not require any PVC material for its foam layer; disposal problems are thus eliminated. Because of the low weight of the foam sheeting, there is very little rejected material during secondary processing. The foam sheeting is distinguished by good mechanical properties and satisfies the demanding delivery conditions of the automobile industry.
Abstract:
A multilayered polyurethane upholstery material wherein the upper cover layer is designed as a color fast and non-abrasive polyurethane layer with high porosity. Right next to it a foamed lining layer which partially merges into the following layer made of fleece. This fleece layer consists of a fleece impregnated with a binder with suction and storage properties. The highly porous cover layer can let moisture pass through and give it off to the lower fleece layer, so that the cover layer itself remains free.
Abstract:
An apparatus for producing a coating on a laminar carrier member, in particular for dressing split leather or similar substrates, comprises a supporting base having a surface consisting of silicon rubber or silicone resin, onto which surface is applied a liquid coating material by means of an electrostatic spraying device arranged above the supporting base for the purpose of producing a foil forming the visible side of the coating after solidification of the coating material. The surface of the supporting base is preferably provided with an embossed pattern, for example with the grain structure of natural leather. For the purpose of improving the adhesion of the foil, formed by solidification of the liquid coating material, on the supporting base, the surface of this supporting base is provided with a microscopic roughness. Alternatively, the area of the supporting base adjacent the aforesaid surface is made electrically conductive and held at a predetermined electrical potential. Microscopic roughness can be obtained by embedding filler materials within the area of the surface of the supporting base. Microscopic roughness can, also be obtained by mechanical, electrical, and/or chemical surface treatment.
Abstract:
Fuel injection nozzle for internal combustion engines includes a first closing spring which acts continuously on the valve needle by means of a central pressure pin and, in addition, a second closing spring which acts continuously on the valve needle by means of a pressure piece after covering the distance of an initial stroke. The pressure piece is supported at the nozzle body by means of an intermediate bush during the initial stroke. The initial stroke is limited by means of the shoulders at the valve needle and the intermediate bush, whereas the total stroke is limited by means of the shoulders at the intermediate bush and the intermediate disk. Accordingly, the initial stroke can be adjusted very accurately to a desired magnitude merely by means of grinding the valve needle and does not change during the assembly of the injection nozzle.
Abstract:
A camshaft adjuster arrangement (2) having a camshaft (4) and a rotor (6) for a camshaft adjuster. The rotor (6) has a central bore (8) for a fixing element (14), the rotor being mounted on the camshaft (4) in a rotationally fixed manner by the fixing element (14). The mounting of the camshaft adjuster arrangement (2) is simplified by forming a frictional connection between the camshaft (4) and the rotor (6) using a clamping unit (16).
Abstract:
An electromagnetic hydraulic valve having an electromagnet with a coil winding arranged on a spool, and a magnet housing, a valve stem having a pressure connection, a tank connection and a consumer connection. The spool and the valve stem are a one-piece plastic body which has an axial longitudinal bore which is an armature space for a magnet armature and also is a control region for a closing body. The magnet housing, with a collar which projects into the longitudinal bore, forms a top magnet pole of the electromagnet. A bottom magnet pole, connected to the magnet housing in a magnetically conductive manner, of the electromagnet likewise projects into the longitudinal bore of the plastic body. The bottom magnet pole of the electromagnet is formed by an annular disk which is integrally cast in the plastic body and which, by a plurality of free sections and a plurality of radial webs at its outer circumference, is designed both as an element for fastening the magnet housing to the hydraulic valve and as an element for fastening the hydraulic valve to an engine block of an internal combustion engine.
Abstract:
A fuel injection system for internal combustion engines includes including a high-pressure reservoir which is acted upon by fuel at high pressure via a high-pressure feed unit and supplies fuel injectors with fuel. The high-pressure feed unit is assigned a pressure regulating valve which is disposed between a high-pressure side and a low-pressure side and includes a valve element which is triggerable via an electrical final control element. The pressure regulating valve includes a housing component which includes a deformable region by way of which, upon mounting of the pressure regulating valve on a receiving body, a gap L between faces of an electrically triggerable final control element assembly is adjustable.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a structured voluminous non-woven fabric, comprising the following steps: producing a spunbonded non-woven fabric consisting of a plurality of monofilaments which are stretched only at 50 to 70% of the maximum possible stretch range to form a fiber skein and subsequent processing the raw non-woven fabric by means of a second pair of rollers (10a, b) with a metal outer jacket to improve the velvet finish. In the second pair of rollers, the positive elements of the positive roller are nops (11) arranged in rows and the surface of the negative roller has lamellas (13) which are arranged in an axial direction and provided with intermediate recesses (14) so that when the rollers roll against each other the lamellas engage in the channels left open by the nops.
