A latex of a highly saturated nitrile rubber wherein the highly saturated nitrile rubber contains α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units in a ratio of 10 to 60 wt %, has an iodine value of 120 or less, and has a weight average molecular weight of solubles in chloroform of 100,000 or less, and when removing volatiles contained in the latex and making a film of the highly saturated nitrile rubber, a loss tangent tan δ(50° C.) at 50° C. of the film is 0.3 to 0.6 and a complex torque S* at the time of 100% shear strain at 100° C. of the film is 20 dNm or less, and an adhesive composition containing the latex are provided.

A nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber composition containing a nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber (A) having a Mooney viscosity [ML1+4, 100° C.] of 50 to 200, a nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber (B) having a Mooney viscosity [ML1+4, 100° C.] of 5 to 45, and staple fibers (C) having an average fiber length of 0.1 to 12 mm is provided. According to the present invention, a nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber composition which can give cross-linked rubber which is extremely high in tensile stress and is excellent in low heat buildup property and has good workability can be provided.

A cross-linkable nitrile rubber composition including a highly saturated nitrile rubber (A) containing α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units in a ratio of 10 to 60 wt % and having an iodine value of 120 or less, a master batch (B) containing an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (b1) having a melt flow rate measured under a load of 21.18N at 190° C. of 0.5 to 1000 g/10 min. and containing vinyl acetate monomer units in a ratio of 5 to 50 wt % and an organic staple fiber (b2) having an average fiber length of 0.1 to 12 mm, and a cross-linking agent (C), wherein a ratio of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (b1) and the organic staple fiber (b2) in the master batch (B) is, in terms of a weight ratio of “ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (b1):organic staple fiber (b2)”, 30:70 to 80:20 is provided.

A cross-linkable nitrile rubber composition including a highly saturated nitrile rubber (A) containing α,β-thylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units in a ratio of 5 to 50 wt % and having an iodine value of 120 or less, a polysaccharide polymer staple fiber (B) having an average fiber diameter of 1 μm or less, and a cross-linking agent (C), wherein a ratio of content of the polysaccharide polymer staple fiber (B) is 0.5 to 30 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the highly saturated nitrile rubber (A).

A nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber composition includes a nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber (A) having α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units and (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer units and having an iodine value of 120 or less and a polyether ester-based plasticizer (B) having structural unit made of three or more ether compounds which are successively bonded. A nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber composition excellent in vulcanization speed and giving cross-linked rubber has excellent heat resistance and cold resistance.
