Abstract:
The present invention provides a massage machine comprising a living body information sensor 5 for detecting the living body information of the autonomic nervous system of the person to be massaged, and a control circuit 6 for controlling massage based on the living body information detected by the sensor 5. The control circuit 6 estimates the psychological state of the person based on variations in the living body information detected by the sensor 5, and adjusts massage movement in accordance with the estimated psychological state. In adjusting the massage movement, one of a relaxation mode and a refreshment mode can be selected, and the massage movement is so adjusted as to lower the activity of the autonomic nervous system in the relaxation mode, or is so adjusted as to increase the activity of the autonomic nervous system in the refreshment mode.
Abstract:
An abdominal massaging device includes a support and a first plate rotatably mounted on the support. At least one projection extends from and is rotatably mounted upon the first plate. In this way, the projection is effective to rotate with respect to the surface of the plate. In an alternative embodiment a plurality of second plates are disposed on the first plate and projections are disposed on the second plates. The supports for the device further include concave portions for receiving a user's pelvis and rib cage.
Abstract:
An apparatus for massaging mountable behind the back of a chair and capable of being moved vertically to provide relaxing massage to a user sitting on the chain. A reversible motor mechanism provides the rotational motion to a clutch assembly that selectively engages one of two gear assemblies that in turn activate two different linkage and reciprocating mechanisms that simulate or follow the movements of the fingers of a conventional masseur.
Abstract:
A treatment unit includes a treatment part including a treatment element, a first drive unit including a swash plate eccentric cam and a second drive unit including an eccentric cam. One of the first drive unit and the second drive unit is connected to the treatment part, and the other one of the first drive unit and the second drive unit is connected to the one of the first drive unit and the second drive unit.

Abstract:
The present invention is a massage chair, having a main frame with specific curve, a chair back located by a chair seat with a rotation angle; wherein the main frame including back section, buttock section and leg section, the buttock section has an upward curve and the leg section has a downward curve, thus, massage provider can provide massage service to human thigh when the rotation angle is more than 110 degree; a seat supporter is restricted by a restriction supporter, then the rotation angle is smaller as a first rotation supporter rotates counter-clockwise and the main frame rotates clockwise, wherein the seat supporter is disposed within the chair seat, and the first rotation terminal is disposed under the main frame.
Abstract:
A footrest device for supporting and exercising a user's feet and legs. The footrest device includes a pair of footrests that are pivotally connected to the opposed ends of a rigid elongated member, which is suspended by a non-rigid suspension member. The footrests are pivotally connected to the rigid elongated member. The footrest device can be suspended from a fixed object, such as the underside of a desk. Alternatively, the footrest device can include, and be suspended from, a mobile base that is positioned on the floor.
Abstract:
A massage machine includes: a massage mechanism that includes a motor; a drive shaft configured to be driven and rotated by the motor; a pair of treatment members that include a pair of arms supported by the drive shaft and is moved closer to and further from each other by the rotation of the drive shaft; air cells which are provided on inner side surfaces of the arms, the air cells expand and contract in accordance with air supply and air discharge; and press treated portions arranged so as to face each other. The massage machine further includes an air unit that supplies and discharge air to and from the air cells and a control unit that controls the motor and the air unit.
Abstract:
A back kneading device capable of causing a massage mechanism to protrude forward and return to an original normal position is provided with no increase in size and complexity in construction. The back kneading device mounted in a chair massage apparatus includes the massage mechanism having a pair of right-hand and left-hand massage members, a base member for pivotally supporting the mechanism at its lower end, a vertical movement mechanism for imparting a vertical motion to the base member, an advancing and retracting mechanism for rockably driving the massage mechanism, and a rock restricting mechanism for an adjusting an angle of rotation of the massage mechanism so that, when the device is in an upper position, an upper end of the massage member protrudes forward, whereas, in a lower position, a lower end thereof protrudes forward.
