Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the field of display technology, and in particular, to a smart wearable device. The smart wearable device comprises a glasses body, an auxiliary frame for its user to wear on the head, and a massage apparatus for the user to massage the head; the glasses body comprising a smart display means and glasses legs carrying the smart display means; both ends of the auxiliary frame being connected to the glasses legs, respectively.
Abstract:
The application is directed to devices and methods useful for expanding the range of motion of joints based on principles of stress relaxation and creep. Expanded range of motion is achieved by placing body parts near the joint in positions that stretch tissue around the joint. Even when the device is in any one position, it can impart forces on the body members to urge them to stretch surrounding tissue even further.
Abstract:
The present invention is a portable device for administering spinal decompression therapy. The device features a compact size and an innovative tension control mechanism to facilitate, in particular, a therapy for imbibition. The use of fabric for a sling and a platform adds comfort features while reducing weight.
Abstract:
A cervical traction device includes a base assembly having a sled frame and a sled assembly that is adapted to move along the sled frame. The device includes a plurality of unique head support cushions. The sled assembly includes a recess that is adapted to removably receive each of the plurality of head support cushions. The device also includes a shoulder support cushion and a halter assembly having a head halter that is adapted to be removably attached to the head of the patient. A linear actuator is attached between the base assembly and the sled assembly and adapted to move the sled assembly along the sled frame.
Abstract:
An external stylus provides an impulse to correct mal-alignments of the Atlas (C1). The placement and direction of the impulse is guided by the analysis of a plurality precisely placed or acquired tomographic images, preferably MRI images.
Abstract:
An intraoral acupressure apparatus and method of treating a user are disclosed. The apparatus may include a base shaped to conform to a palate of a user, the base configured to be removably held adjacent to the palate in a predetermined position relative to acupressure points located on the user's palate. The apparatus may additionally include one or more projections extending out from the base and configured to contact one or more acupressure points of the user's palate when the apparatus is removably held in the predetermined position. The base may be configured to be removably held in the predetermined position without wire hooks or clasps.
Abstract:
A traction device comprises a frame, a first bladder portion, a second bladder portion, a spacer, and a pump. The first bladder expands in an outward direction a distance greater than in a transverse direction. The second bladder expands in an angular direction. The second bladder is positioned generally below and to the side of the first bladder. Upon expanding in the outward direction, the first bladder bears against the back of the user's neck. Upon expanding in the transverse direction, the first bladder applies an angular traction to the cervical spine. Upon expanding in the angular direction, the second bladder bears angularly against the back of the user's upper thoracic region.
Abstract:
An electronic stimulation system has a casing; electronics inside the casing a first detector arranged to sense whether a human being is breathing or not, a stimulation device arranged to receive a control signal from said electronics and to provide stimuli to a nasal philtre or a human nasopharynx. The electronics generate the control signal in dependence on the breathing signal and the system has a holding device for attaching the stimulation device to the nose.
Abstract:
A chiropractic machine is disclosed which uses separate supporting members for the various body parts of a patient. These separate supporting members are mounted on a flexible structure that allows them to be rotated and elongated in relation to each other. This allows greater flexibility and range of motion, thus facilitating chiropractic treatment.
Abstract:
