Abstract:
A sprinkler with adjustable fan angle of water sprayed is revealed. The adjustable fan angle of water sprayed means a fan area of the water sprayed is adjusted and changed. The sprinkler includes a housing, a receiving seat and a sprinkler head. The sprinkler head consists of a base seat, a collar member and an adjustment member. The fan angle of the water sprayed can be manually operated and changed by rotating the adjustment member.
Abstract:
A suck-back valve selectively actuatable for dispensing liquid in its open condition from an associated liquid storage container, and for avoiding continued presence of excess dispensed liquid about the exit orifice in the closed condition of the valve, is formed at least in part of a spring member and a pin. The spring member includes a distal web that defines a valve seat and a dispensed liquid exit orifice, a proximal web, and a plurality of flexibly elastic bands helically connecting the distal and proximal webs. The pin includes an elongated shaft having a proximal end secured to the proximal web and carrying a substantially hollow frustoconical cone at its distal end. The cone has an outer valving surface for releasable abutment with the valve seat and the shaft has a bore of predetermined cross-sectional extent defined longitudinally along and within the shaft to create a continuous fluid passageway through and along the pin. Dispensed liquid remaining proximate the exit orifice is sucked back into the liquid container through the shaft bore as the valve returns from its open to its closed condition under the return urgency of the elastic bands.
Abstract:
A shield apparatus for a blowgun is provided. The shield apparatus includes a dome portion and a lip portion. The dome portion defines a central axis. The dome portion includes an inner raised section, an outer peripheral section, and an intermediate section extending between the inner raised section and the outer peripheral section. The inner raised section defines a hole along the central axis. The lip portion extends from the outer peripheral section of the dome portion in a direction of the central axis. A portion of a blowpipe of the blowgun is inserted through the hole of the dome portion for mounting the shield apparatus on the blowgun.
Abstract:
A method of intermittently coating a moving surface with paste containing electrochemically active particles by a nozzle having a slot-shaped delivery opening includes supplying paste to the delivery opening from a paste reservoir via a transport channel and regulating paste supply to the delivery opening with a rotatably mounted control axle which enables the paste supply to the delivery opening in a first switching position and, in a second switching position, blocks the transport channel and disconnects a section of the transport channel extending as far as the delivery opening from the paste supply, wherein the rotatably mounted control axle comprises a passage via which the paste reservoir is in communicating connection with the delivery opening in the first switching position and the disconnected section of the transport channel is in communicating connection with the reduced pressure source in the second switching position.
Abstract:
An improved system for application of liquid streams to a substrate. The system incorporates open face flow channels for carrying the liquid away from fully enclosed flow segments prior to discharge along an unconstrained flow path. The present invention further provides an improved, self-aligning modular assembly for delivery of impingement jet to the liquid streams for diverting the direction of the liquid streams. The present invention further provides an improved arrangement for collection of the deflected liquid in response to application of the impingement jet without excess residue build-up.
Abstract:
An attachment for a spraying device which permits spraying to be performed in small spaces and has both bendable and retractable features is provided. An inverted L-shaped portion has a top side and a bottom side. The bottom side is connected to a vacuum hose. The top side is attached to a bendable top hose which includes an internal bendable coaxial tubing which terminates at a nozzle. A removable support engages the nozzle at the end of the top hose. The rear of the coaxial tubing includes an attachment to the spraying device. The top hose and support permit the spraying attachment to spray hard to reach areas. The nozzle support is removable, permitting the top hose to be retracted about the coaxial tubing, freeing the nozzle to access even harder to reach areas. The attachment can evacuate any spray particulates which do not affix to the workpiece.
Abstract:
A nozzle adjustment member for a sprinkler is revealed. A plurality of nozzle tubes aligned in at least one row is positioned on a wall of a hollow pipe. A top end of the nozzle tube is projecting to an outside of the hollow pipe. At least one pivot support is disposed on the outside of the hollow pipe. Each pivot support is pivoted with an adjustment piece having a plurality of guiding openings. The guiding openings are positioned over the plurality of nozzle tubes correspondingly. A nozzle cover is connected with the outside of the hollow pipe for covering the adjustment piece. A plurality of long through holes for mounting the corresponding nozzle tubes is arranged at the nozzle cover. Around a pivot hole, the adjustment piece swings so as to drive the plurality of nozzle tubes moving at an angle and different water distribution patterns are provided.
Abstract:
A soaker hose with scalable permeable surface area and method for selecting and controlling which areas to be watered. The soaker hose with scalable permeable surface area and method includes a hose having a wall with a plurality of perforations disposed about and through the wall and along the length of the hose and also having ends and a passageway extending though the length of the hose and through the ends, for moving water to specified locations; and a sheathing arrangement including at least one sleeve movably disposed about the hose to prevent the water exiting through the perforations which are covered by the at least one sleeve.
Abstract:
It is provided in a liquid application system for applying liquid to a material cake transported on a conveyor device having a liquid application device, that the conveyor device comprises a porous section on which the material cake lies or which the material cake contacts and which is permeable for a liquid to be applied, that the liquid application device comprises an application device via which the liquid to be applied can be applied to the side of the porous section of the conveyor device facing away from the material cake, and that the liquid application device comprises an overpressure chamber having a first overpressure relative to the environment by which the porous section of the conveyor device passes, wherein the applied liquid can be transported via the first overpressure through the porous section of the conveyor device or held via the first overpressure to the porous section.
Abstract:
The oscillating pressurized spray tip protection assembly is comprised of a tip guard and a lock plate that lock together via securing means over an oscillating spray tip in order to protect against wear when said spray tip is penetrating ground. The spray tip protection assembly utilizes a material that is strong, and more durable than the spray tip enclosed therein such that the life of the spray tip is increased. The tip guard has a cavity contoured to an exterior surface of the oscillating spray tip with an opening at a front end of the tip guard thereby enabling pressurized water to exit from both the oscillating spray tip as well as the tip guard.
