Abstract: A water desalinization apparatus for efficient water desalinization includes a first removable cover for daytime use and a second removable cover for nighttime use. The first removable cover allows sunlight and infrared rays to pass through the cover to heat saline water held in a fluid basin. The second removable cover is positioned on the fluid basin when the first removable cover is removed from the fluid basin to form the water vapor from the saline water. The second removable cover includes a first plate that acts as a cold body to convert the water vapor to fresh liquid water. A second plate is arranged between a freshwater collection conduit and the fluid basin. The second plate includes nonlinear apertures configured to pass the water vapor from the fluid basin to the first plate. The nonlinear apertures define a shape lacking a direct line of sight through the nonlinear apertures.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide a water softener, a humidifier base, and a humidifier. Abstract: A substance treatment apparatus includes an RF signal source, power detection circuitry, a controller, and a transmission path between the RF signal source and a first electrode that radiates electromagnetic energy into a chamber. The RF signal source includes a solid-state amplifier that generates an RF signal. The power detection circuitry detects reflected signal power along the transmission path. Based on the reflected signal power, the controller modifies values of variable components within an impedance matching network electrically coupled along the transmission path to adjust a magnitude of the reflected signal power. The impedance matching network may have a double-ended input connected to a balun, and a double-ended output connected to the first electrode and to a second electrode. Alternatively, the impedance matching network may have a single-ended input connected to the RF signal source, and a single-ended output connected to the first electrode. The second electrode may be grounded.

Abstract: A sterilization system with multipurpose degasser has a vortex mixing cylinder, an endcap, and a deionization system. The vortex mixing cylinder is a container that has an inlet an outlet. The inlet and out enable an ozone-water mixture to flow into a mixing chamber within the vortex mixing cylinder. The mixing chamber is designed to facilitate the formation of an ozone saturated ozone-water mixture. The endcap is used to cover an opening of the mixing chamber and is used to expel gasses out of the mixing chamber. The deionization system is an electrical filter that removes ozone particles from the air within the mixing chamber. The deionization system is mounted in between the vortex mixing cylinder and the endcap. Accordingly, gasses must pass through the deionization system prior to being expelled through the endcap. The ozone particles are removed from the gasses being expelled through the endcap, prior to expulsion.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for the treatment of exhaust gas from diesel engine or other combustion type processes, the apparatus comprising liquid and Ozone gas injection means (2) and (3) respectively, for delivering the liquid and Ozone gas into a pressurised exhaust gas stream pipe (1) when the diesel engine or other type internal combustion processes are in use. The liquid and the Ozone gas commingle as the liquid is reduced to a spray of very fine droplets in order to capture sub micron particulate materials before entering a shortened reaction/contacting chamber (4) where the contents undergo a phase change before exiting and entering a gas liquid separator (5) where the liquid droplets are separated from the treated particulate materials, which are subjected to a scrubbing regime in a downstream scrubber (11) before exiting the apparatus through an exit pipe (7). When in use, the apparatus uses the diesel engine or other combustion type process pressure to create high velocities and Reynolds numbers in the shortened reaction/contacting chamber (4) in which NOx is rapidly mixed and reacted with the injected Ozone gas and converted through to N2O5 and wherein the sub micron particulate materials, with condensed hydrocarbons, are simultaneously wetted and efficiently captured by the injected and finely sheared liquid droplets.

Abstract: A water treatment device and methods of treating water such as cooling tower water, swimming pool water, and hot tub or spa water, are described. The water treatment device utilizes ultraviolet radiation, a magnetic field, and ozone fortified air to treat the water, typically resulting in reduced microbial contamination and reduced alkalinity in cooling tower water. Cooling tower water may consequently be run at higher cycles of concentration while reducing or eliminating deposition of minerals on cooling tower components. Swimming pool water and hot tub water treated with the water treatment device typically requires less chlorine, and chlorine levels are typically more stable than without the device.
