    Abstract: A water desalinization apparatus for efficient water desalinization includes a first removable cover for daytime use and a second removable cover for nighttime use. The first removable cover allows sunlight and infrared rays to pass through the cover to heat saline water held in a fluid basin. The second removable cover is positioned on the fluid basin when the first removable cover is removed from the fluid basin to form the water vapor from the saline water. The second removable cover includes a first plate that acts as a cold body to convert the water vapor to fresh liquid water. A second plate is arranged between a freshwater collection conduit and the fluid basin. The second plate includes nonlinear apertures configured to pass the water vapor from the fluid basin to the first plate. The nonlinear apertures define a shape lacking a direct line of sight through the nonlinear apertures.

    Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide a water softener, a humidifier base, and a humidifier. The water softener includes: a housing internally provided with a resin cavity and sequentially provided with a water inlet and a water outlet along a flowing direction of a water flow; a snap provided on the housing; and a positioning column provided on the end of the housing corresponding to the water inlet and extending toward a direction away from the housing. By providing the snap and the positioning column, when the water softener needs to be assembled, it is merely required to mount the snap and the positioning column to the corresponding parts of one humidifier; in this case, a water flow will enter the water softener through the water inlet to implement a subsequent water softening operation.

    Abstract: A substance treatment apparatus includes an RF signal source, power detection circuitry, a controller, and a transmission path between the RF signal source and a first electrode that radiates electromagnetic energy into a chamber. The RF signal source includes a solid-state amplifier that generates an RF signal. The power detection circuitry detects reflected signal power along the transmission path. Based on the reflected signal power, the controller modifies values of variable components within an impedance matching network electrically coupled along the transmission path to adjust a magnitude of the reflected signal power. The impedance matching network may have a double-ended input connected to a balun, and a double-ended output connected to the first electrode and to a second electrode. Alternatively, the impedance matching network may have a single-ended input connected to the RF signal source, and a single-ended output connected to the first electrode. The second electrode may be grounded.

    Abstract: A sterilization system with multipurpose degasser has a vortex mixing cylinder, an endcap, and a deionization system. The vortex mixing cylinder is a container that has an inlet an outlet. The inlet and out enable an ozone-water mixture to flow into a mixing chamber within the vortex mixing cylinder. The mixing chamber is designed to facilitate the formation of an ozone saturated ozone-water mixture. The endcap is used to cover an opening of the mixing chamber and is used to expel gasses out of the mixing chamber. The deionization system is an electrical filter that removes ozone particles from the air within the mixing chamber. The deionization system is mounted in between the vortex mixing cylinder and the endcap. Accordingly, gasses must pass through the deionization system prior to being expelled through the endcap. The ozone particles are removed from the gasses being expelled through the endcap, prior to expulsion.
