Abstract:
Disclosed is a new form of reactive ozone and techniques for producing nanobubble suspensions of the reactive ozone. The bubbles entrap a high concentration of ozone, with the ozone orienting a net negative charge outwards and a net positive charge inwards.
Abstract:
An apparatus has a tank with an interior for containing water, a nozzle for directing ozonated water out of the spray apparatus, and an electrolytic cell located between the nozzle and the tank. The electrolytic cell is configured to ozonate water as the water flows from the tank to the nozzle. The apparatus also includes a power source for providing electric potential to the electrolytic cell. The tank, nozzle, and electrolytic cell all are part of a single spray bottle or dispenser (e.g., like a soap dispenser).
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for sanitizing a water dispenser that dispenses water for human consumption is disclosed. The dispenser can be in the form of any dispenser that dispenses water for human consumption employing a reservoir that dispenses water through one or more spigots. Water in the reservoir is sanitized with an air/ozone gas mixture that is transmitted to a porous polymeric diffuser having a central bore and a porous wall. The porosity of the porous wall defines bubble size.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a process for reclamation of waste fluids. A conditioning container is employed for receipt of waste material on a continuous flow for treatment within the container by immersible transducers producing ultrasonic acoustic waves in combination with a high level of injected ozone. The invention discloses a cost efficient and environmentally friendly process and apparatus for cleaning and recycling of flowback, or frac water, which has been used to stimulate gas production from shale formations. The apparatus is mobile and containerized and suitable for installation at the well site.
Abstract:
A wastewater treatment system comprising a first chamber adapted to receive wastewater and arranged to perform a first treatment process (e.g., aerobic and/or anaerobic processes), a second chamber positioned to receiving wastewater from the first chamber and including an ozone contactor assembly that infuses ozone into the second chamber, and a storage tank positioned to receive treated water from the second chamber. The ozone contactor assembly comprises a first conduit having an intake, a discharge, a downwardly-angled portion, and an upwardly-angled portion (e.g., U-shaped). An ozone generator is positioned to provide ozone to a lower portion of the first conduit (preferably near the bottom of both the downwardly- angled portion and the upwardly-angled portion). The ozone contactor assembly can include additional conduits structured similar to the first conduit and feeding into each other, and each including an ozone generator. The downwardly-angled and upwardly-angled portions are preferably substantially vertical.
Abstract:
An apparatus for producing water having dissolved ozone therein of the type direct-connectable to a pressurized-water supply faucet (26) includes a nozzle (5) for directing a flow of pressurized water from the supply faucet (26) to a turbine (1) to effect rotation thereof, the turbine (1) having magnets (13) attached thereto magnetically coupled to corresponding magnets (13) attached to a disc (14) of a power generator (3). Rotation of the turbine (1) is magnetically coupled to the power generator (3) to generate electrical power for supply to an ozone generator to generate ozone for combination with the so-supplied water to produce ozonated water.
Abstract:
A dielectric assembly for generating ozone includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a dielectric for generating the ozone, and a knob adapted to extend outside of a housing into which the dielectric assembly is to be placed. A system is also provided for sanitizing and deodorizing water, food, surfaces and air including a microbiological reduction filter device having an input connected to a water supply, a venturi injector disposed within a housing and connected to an output of the microbiological reduction filter device which generates ozone and mixes the generated ozone with the water, and an electrode assembly comprising a plurality of electrodes, a dielectric for generating the ozone, and a knob extending outside of the housing. The dielectric in a first embodiment and the entire dielectric assembly in a second embodiment can be removed from the housing and replaced in its entirety by the knob.
Abstract:
By effectively inhibiting ozone escape from ozonized water, a livestock sterilizing method which does not have the possibility of having an adverse effect on man and livestock is provided. Sterilizing of livestock is performed by including an ozonized water producing step of producing ozonized water with a particle size R of a contained ozone bubble satisfying 0
Abstract:
A dissolved ozone delivery system comprises a generator for producing gaseous ozone, a bottle for holding a liquid suitable for receiving the gaseous ozone, flow conduits for delivering the gaseous ozone to the bottle and dissolving the ozone into the liquid to form an ozonated liquid, and a multicomponent bottle closure sealing device. The multicomponent bottle closure sealing has several discrete gas flow passageways for channeling the ozone gas into the bottle, venting undissolved gas and delivering the ozonated liquid to an exterior surface for decontamination thereof or medical instruments for sterilization or use in medical or dental procedures.
Abstract:
Bubble generator devices to produce a fluid stream comprising bubbles are described. Apparatuses that include any of the described bubble generator devices to treat waste and/or frac-water are also described.
