Abstract: A one-part composition includes by wt % of total weight of the composition: a) 5 to 70 wt % of at least one emulsified polymeric binder, the binder comprising one or more of (meth)acrylamide or derivatives thereof as a polymerized monomer; b) 1 to 55 wt % of at least one silicate; c) 0.01 to 10 wt % of at least one alkyl siliconate; d) water, and e) optional additives. The binder a) includes (meth)acrylamide or derivative thereof as a polymerized monomer and is in the form of emulsified polymeric particles having a volume average particle size of 50 nm-500 nm.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to multi-layered elastomer-based liners. In at least one embodiment, a coated substrate includes a substrate and a first elastomer coating disposed on the substrate. The first elastomer coating is substantially free of sulfur and includes a first elastomer selected from the group consisting of a polyurea, a polyurethane, a polyurea-polyurethane copolymer, and combinations thereof. The coated substrate includes a second elastomer coating disposed on the first coating. The second elastomer coating includes a second elastomer selected from the group consisting of a polyurea, a polyurethane, a polyurea-polyurethane copolymer, and combinations thereof. The first elastomer is the same as or different than the second elastomer and at least one of the first elastomer or the second elastomer is a polyurea-polyurethane copolymer.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a composition comprising: an epoxy-containing component, elastomeric particles in an amount of greater than 11% by weight to 25% by weight based on total weight of the composition; and a curing component activatable by an external energy source, the curing component comprising at least one guanidine having a D90 particle size of 25 µm measured by dynamic light scattering. Also disclosed is the composition in an at least partially cured state. Also disclosed is a method for treating a substrate comprising applying the composition to a surface of a substrate; and applying an external energy source to cure the composition. Also disclosed are substrates comprising the composition. Also disclosed are substrates formed by the method of the present invention.
