Abstract: An agricultural communication system is provided that enables sensor-to-sensor link communications of peripheral farming devices (planters, fertilizer or pesticide applicators, etc.) so as to enhance diagnostics for locating system faults and blockages. The system also provides a means to operate with single-faults present with real-time diagnostics to the operator. The point-to-point communications also facilitates simplified installation by automatically determining the sensor addressing based on the physical connection of the sensors. Since the sensor-to-sensor daisy chain bus system is self-configuring there is no dependency on the sensor manufacturing data or sequential installation procedure to define the sensor address as required in other prior art systems. A dual power supply from each end of the looped bus with independent switching provides operation in the presence of single-faults, and a diagnostic mode combined with sensor power supply voltage measurements provides fault location.

Abstract: A power routing rack can be used to provide various power support redundancies to one or more computing racks in a data center. Power feeds are supplied to bus bars in a power bus bar array extending through the rack, and power routing assemblies positioned in the rack route power from one or more of the bus bars to a computing rack. Each assembly includes circuit breakers that couple to separate bus bars and a routing module that routes power from one or more of the circuit breakers to one or more computing racks. The routing module can include a transfer switch that selectively routes power. The routing module can include an electrical bridge that concurrently routes power. Each assembly can be positioned within the rack to couple the circuit breakers to various power bus bars to adjust the power support redundancy provided to one or more computing racks.

Abstract: A method to avoid over-rebooting of a power supply device comprises Step 1: receiving a power-good signal generated by a power supply device working normally; Step 2: checking whether the power-good signal is received; if no, demanding the power supply device to reboot; and Step 3: recording a count of rebootings of the power supply device; after the power supply device reboots, checking again whether the power-good signal is received; if yes, letting the power supply device keep on working and resetting the count of rebootings; if no, demanding the power supply device to reboot again, accumulating the count of rebootings, and checking whether the count of rebootings is greater than a limited count of rebootings; if yes, forbidding the power supply device to reboot. Thus is solved the problem that a power supply device whose abnormality cannot be removed by rebooting may damage the information device.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for smart power clamping of a redundant power supply. A system configured according to this disclosure can measure, at a baseboard management controller, a system power consumption which indicates total power being delivered by a first power supply unit and a second power supply unit. The system can determine that the system power consumption exceeds a system power consumption capacity and, in response to the determination, communicate a power clamping signal to a processor, resulting in a reduced system power consumption. The system can further identify that the reduced system power consumption exceeds the system power consumption capacity and initiate a hardware throttling of at least one of the first power supply unit and the second power supply unit.
