Abstract: A process for reactivating a spent, metal-contaminated zeolite-containing cracking catalyst composition comprises the sequential steps of contacting the catalyst composition with dissolved ammonium compound (preferably NH.sub.4 NO.sub.3), contacting with a fluorine compound (preferably NH.sub.4 F), and treatment with a passivating agent (preferably Mg, Ca, B, A, P and/or Sb). The reactivated cracking catalyst obtained by this reactivation process is employed in a catalytic cracking process.

Abstract: A process for performing a heterogeneously catalysed reaction for the oxidative esterification of aldehydes to carboxylic esters can be performed. Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing, activating and regenerating a metal supported catalyst, comprising: treating a Ma-Mb-Mc metal supported catalyst at 10-700° C. by using an ammonia or nitrogen-containing organic matter, wherein the Ma metal is an active metal selected from one or more of a noble metal atom or a transition metal, the support is a common industrial porous catalyst, and the Ma metal is dispersed on the support in a state of single atomic site. According to the Md-Mb-Mc metal supported noble metal/zinc catalyst treated by the method of the present invention, the direct dehydrogenation conversion rate and selectivity of catalyzing light alkanes are remarkably improved; the method for preparing the catalyst is simple in process, the catalytic activity after regeneration is still kept, and the catalyst can be industrially produced on a large scale.

Abstract: A porous carbon-based metal catalyst, a preparation method and application thereof are provided. The preparation method includes: successively performing activation, surface corrosion, nitrogen-doping treatment and graphitization treatment on washed micro-grade porous carbon, then performing sensitization treatment, and subsequently carrying out loading, reduction and other treatments of catalytic metal, so as to finally obtain the porous carbon-based metal catalyst. The porous carbon-based metal catalyst provided by the present application has excellent catalytic performance, is especially suitable for producing hydrogen by efficiently catalytically decomposing ammonia borane, is not prone to inactivation, and is easy to regenerate after inactivation. Meanwhile, the preparation method is environmental-friendly, is suitable for large-scale production and has a wide application prospect in the fields such as hydrogen fuel batteries.

Also provided is a guard bed system, comprising: (a) a first guard bed comprising a first adsorbent having 10 μm or larger pores with an average pore diameter of 100 to 1,000 μm; and (b) a second guard bed fluidly connected to the first guard bed, comprising a second adsorbent material having mesopores and macropores with a second average pore diameter of 20 to 1,000 nm.
