Abstract: The present invention relates to the provision of an aqueous emulsion composition for producing a film showing slippery properties containing hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers and at the same time improving water resistance and durability of the film. Since the emulsion composition of the present invention is capable of forming a film having slippery properties, which can be utilized on various surfaces, for example, those in the fields of coatings for ships and bridges, cosmetics, and the like.

Abstract: The present invention describes a method for the production of a spinning dope composition, said method comprising a homogenization involving vigorous mixing of a cellulosic pulp material in alkali solution, vigorous mixing implying supplying a power density to agitators used in the homogenization step of at least 150 kW/m3 (kW supplied to agitators per mixed unit of liquid volume), and thereafter a dissolution involving mixing of the cellulosic pulp material in the alkali solution to obtain a spinning dope composition, wherein the power density supplied to agitators used in the dissolution step is maximum 75 kW/m3 (kW supplied to agitators per mixed unit of liquid volume); and wherein the cellulosic pulp material in alkali solution is kept at a temperature of less than 0° C. during the homogenization and during at least part of the dissolution. The present invention is also directed to a system intended for the production of a spinning dope composition.

Abstract: This invention relates to providing a resin composition and a resin molded article having sufficient mechanical properties and thermal properties, and also having excellent wear resistance and moldability when in use. This invention provides a cellulose nanofiber resin composition including (A) cellulose nanofibers, (B) a surface treatment agent, and (F) a thermoplastic resin.

It is possible to obtain a composition uniformly finely dispersed the cellulose nanofibers by treating a mixture containing unmodified cellulose nanofibers and a dispersant using a high speed agitating Medialess disperser, and followed by pulverizing the composition to blend with a resin and a rubber component. Also, a resin composition improved in mechanical properties and heat resistance, obtained by blending the powdery cellulose nanofibers above with a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin, is useful as a molding material for a 3D printer.
