Abstract: For example, an Access Point (AP) device may be configured to transmit a trigger frame from a sub 10 Gigahertz (GHz) (sub-10 GHz) AP of the AP device over a sub-10 GHz wireless communication channel, the trigger frame configured to trigger a Transmit Sector Sweep (TXSS) procedure over a millimeterWave (mmWave) wireless communication channel; based on the trigger frame, transmit a sequence of sector sweep packets of the TXSS procedure from a mmWave AP of the AP device over the mmWave wireless communication channel; and process a feedback frame from a non-AP device to identify feedback information based on the sequence of sector sweep packets, the feedback frame received at the sub-10 GHz AP over the sub-10 GHz wireless communication channel after the TXSS procedure.

Abstract: The disclosure provides techniques for power control for communications under a Very Low Power (VLP) mode. A communication device includes: processing circuitry, to encode a message to be transmitted to a second communication device, to indicate a setpoint, wherein the setpoint is defined as a minimum power at which a packet is required to be transmitted under a set of packet parameters, such that the packet could be successfully received by the communication device; and a transceiver, to transmit the message to the second communication device, and receive the packet transmitted at a power determined based on the setpoint and a margin, from the second communication device, wherein the margin is determined based on a probability of measurement errors.

The disclosure provides an apparatus, comprising: interface circuitry; and processor circuitry coupled with the interface circuitry, wherein the processor circuitry is to: encode a Preemptable Physical Protocol Data Unit (P-PPDU) packet; and cause transmission of the P-PPDU packet to a Station (STA) via the interface circuitry, wherein the P-PPDU packet includes a plurality of MPDU segments of an Aggregated MPDU (A-PDU), each MPDU segment includes one or more IPDUs, and wherein the P-PPDU packet includes a midamble (MA) for each MPDU segment. Abstract: Logic to place one or more protocol data units (PDUs) in a transmit queue for transmission. Logic to perform a directional clear channel assessment (CCA) for a first sector of a 60 gigahertz (GHz) link, the directional CCA to determine only if the first sector is busy or idle. Logic to determine the directional CCA indicates idle for the first sector. Logic to cause transmission of the first PDU to the STA via the first sector of the 60 GHz link based on the directional CCA. Logic to receive an acknowledgement (ACK) of receipt of the PDU from the STA. Logic to perform a directional CCA for a second sector of the 60 GHz link. And logic to communicate via the first sector and the second sector independently.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to an enhanced hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ). A device may determine two or more HARQ medium access control (MAC) frames. The device may determine a difference between a first number of bits of a physical layer (PHY) codeword and a second number of bits of a first HARQ MAC frame of the two or more HARQ MAC frames. The device may generate, based on the difference, a third number of bits, wherein the first number of bits is equal to a sum of the second number of bits and the third number of bits. The device may generate an aggregated MAC frame comprising the first HARQ MAC frame, the third number of bits, and a second HARQ MAC frame of the two or more HARQ MAC frames. The device may send the aggregated MAC frame.

The AP may exchange signaling with an STA as part of a multi-link setup process between the multi-link TP logical entity and a multi-link non-AP logical entity. The STA may be included in a plurality of STAs affiliated with the multi-link non-AP logical entity. The multi-link setup process may establish a link between each AP of the plurality of APs and a corresponding STA of the plurality of STAs.

Abstract: Embodiments of an Extremely High Throughput Station (EHT STA) (STA1) configured for operating in a next-generation (NG) wireless local area network (WLAN) are described herein. In some embodiments, the EHT STA encodes a common signal field (SIG) (Coex-SIG) of an EHT PPDU to include a TXOP duration field. The TXOP duration field is more than seven bits to indicate an actual TXOP duration of a transmission from the EHT STA comprising the EHT PPDU transmitted to a second station (STA2). Decoding the TXOP duration field of the EHT PPDU by a third-party station (STA4) causes the third-party station (STA4) to defer a transmission until after an end of the transmission from the second station (STA2).
