Abstract: A massage device for a person's appendage includes a plurality of enclosures each including an outer surface and a hollow interior space having a control circuit, a power source such as a rechargeable battery, a vibration mechanism, and preferably at least one motor and a gear arrangement. Each enclosure includes at least one roller driven by the gear arrangement and the at least one motor. A plurality of connectors are each fixed between two adjacent enclosures to form a ring with the enclosures and the connectors. The connectors are adapted to contract or expand such that with the person's appendage fitted through the ring, the connectors are retracted until the rollers each contact the person's appendage to move the device along or about the person's appendage while the vibration mechanism massages the person's appendage.

Abstract: A treatment force application device includes a proximal end having a weight and having a support for a practitioner; a distal end having a treatment interface configured for applying a therapeutic treatment including at least a treatment force; and a connection between the support and the treatment interface. The connection is lockably adjustable by the practitioner to establish a placement of the treatment interface relative to the support. The weight is sufficient to substantially prevent movement of the treatment interface relative to the support when the connection is locked. The support enables movement of the practitioner to provide a practitioner force, and the practitioner force is transferred from the support to the treatment interface through the connection.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for providing therapeutic bubbling massage of a person's body. The apparatus may be adapted to float on, for example, a pond, lake or pool. The apparatus may be formed of pressurized pneumatic tubing having an interior volume that is pressurized with air. The pneumatic tubing may form a frame allowing a user to sit, lie, recline or otherwise be disposed on upper surfaces of the pneumatic tubing. The weight of a user disposed on the upper surfaces of the pneumatic tubing may force a portion of the pneumatic tubing below the surface of the fluid in which the apparatus is floating, such that bubbles are formed when the pressurized gas is allowed to escape the pneumatic tubing through openings, impacting the body of the user. The gas may be heated or may be infused with an aroma.

Abstract: An inversion table that incorporates additional therapies, such as massage, traction, and heat. Therapeutic elements of the inversion table may be programmable, so that settings are cycled automatically through preprogrammed patterns. The table may have one or more back massage elements that travel along tracks in the table to massage different portions of the back, and similar neck massage elements that massage different portions of the neck. Traction actuators may apply traction forces to the head and the legs. One or more heating pads may apply heat to any portion of the body. Settings for the therapeutic elements may be controlled by a processor that may execute stored therapy programs, or may respond to user input from a controller or a smartphone.
