Abstract:
The invention relates to a massage device (1) comprising at least one massage means (2, 2null, 2A, 2Anull; 20) comprising at least one massage member (3 to 6 or 21 to 23) as well as a retaining member (7, 8 or 24) for the massage members. A drive (9; 26) for the massage means (2 to 2Anull; 20) and transmission means (10, 10null; 25) for transmitting a massage movement from the drive (9; 26) to the massage device (1) are provided, in particular for installation in the seat back (11) of a vehicle seat (S). The retaining member (7, 8; 24) and the transmission means (10, 10null; 25) are combined to a functional unit effecting a multi-function massage and the output shaft (19; 27) of the drive (9; 26) is directly coupled to the functional unit.
Abstract:
A sexual aid device comprising a curved portion having a proximal and a distal end, a substantially straight portion, the straight portion extending from the proximal end of the curved portion thereby forming an approximate J shape, and mechanical means for causing movement of the curved portion is provided. The movement can be arcuate, circular, vibratory, an extending movement or a nullcome hithernull movement. The distal end of the curved portion stimulates a female's Grafenberg spot or G spot when the device is inserted into the vagina with the straight portion pointing away from the curved portion towards the female's torso. The straight portion extends coextensively from the curved portion. The device also includes a clitoral stimulation portion which is textured and vibrates.
Abstract:
A massage device for creating a massaging action. The massage device may include at least two massaging projections mounted in relation to a flexible fluid supply conduit, such as a shower hose. The device may include a chamber for containing an impeller, and the fluid supply conduit may include an outlet for fluid to contact the impeller and cause the impeller to rotate. At least one weight is disposed in the head and is coupled to the impeller eccentric to a rotational axis of the impeller for moving the projection in an oscillatory motion, which creates the massaging action. The head may be supplied on a handle, or along the fluid supply conduit.
Abstract:
An automatic massage device has a base panel, a transmission mechanism, and a rocking mechanism. The transmission mechanism has a motor, two gears, two generally S-shaped push plates, two driven shafts, and the motor having a first main shaft connected to a first worm and a second main shaft connected to a second worm. Each driven shaft passes through the corresponding generally S-shaped push plate, and the corresponding gear. The rocking mechanism has two rocking plates, two pivot shafts, two controlling plates, two expansion springs, two chucks, two roller wheels, and two platforms. Each expansion spring is connected to the base panel and the corresponding controlling plate. Each driven shaft passes through the corresponding rocking plate, and the corresponding controlling plate. Each roller wheel is disposed on a bottom of the corresponding rocking plate.
Abstract:
A device and method is shown for invoking a muscle's natural involuntary, reflexive response or stretch reflex by imparting a sudden increase in load on the muscle over a defined period of time from a predetermined base load at which the muscle has assumed a baseline tonus, and over a predetermined amplitude of motion. The muscle is stimulated by cycling the load with a frequency of between 1 and 60 Hz, or more preferably between 10 and 30 Hz, and an amplitude of displacement of the muscle between 2 and 50 mm, or more preferably between 5 and 10 mm. The force input to the muscle can be provided by either the mass of the body to which the muscle is connected or by an external mass or resistance to motion. A seesaw platform can be oscillated in a vertical direction at the correct frequency and amplitude. Alternatively, a surface adapted to be fixed to a portion of the body can be oscillated relative to an external mass or other element that resists motion due to gravitational, frictional or inertial forces.
Abstract:
The invention involves a massage device with moving massage cams. In order to achieve an especially good massaging kneading action of the cams, it is proposed here to provide the massage cams on the ends of oscillating rockers, which are arranged in at least one pair and next to each other, and which can be driven offset in phase from each other.
Abstract:
A hand held massage unit used for therapeutic purposes such as to loosen and mobilize bronchial secretions in patients, to improve blood circulation, and to relax muscles. The massage unit includes a vibration-free motor unit having a rotating output shaft directly connected to a vibratory head assembly. The rotational motion of the output shaft is transformed into oscillating orbital motion about the shaft centerline in the adapter portion of the vibratory head assembly by means of an offset cam integrally formed as part of a counterbalanced eccentric. Counterweights within the eccentric reduce the vibrations transmitted to the user's hand and isolate the oscillating vibration of the vibratory head assembly. Undesired rotation of the vibratory head assembly is prevented by a mounting construction between the oscillating adapter components and a stationary portion of the vibratory head assembly secured to the motor unit.
Abstract:
A body massager having a casing that is of generally T-shaped configuration overall with a slender elongate handle and an enlarged portion at an inner end of the handle having an overhanging transverse hand grip. A massage head below the grip has a pair of generally dome-shaped massage formations that vibrate towards and away from a surface to be massaged. Each formation has a base element and a replacement cover that is made of a non-foam material such as PVC. The cover has a wall structure that includes a plurality of cavities and intervening wall portions that extend in the direction in which the massage formation moves during massage, so that the wall portions deform and restore for providing resiliency of the massage formation.
Abstract:
A body and joints massage device having changeable massage heads to obtain selected stroking, rubbing and/or kneading massaging effects of all body parts including body joints. The body and joints massage device comprising a shaft housing engaging a main rotating shaft, the shaft housing being formed suitable to grip by a user and may be engaged with types of massage heads. One type includes actively rotating and actively self rotating massage elements each is equipped with passively rotating rollers for body stroking and rubbing massage effects. Another type includes actively rotating, flexible and/or extended massage elements each also performs an active reciprocal linear or arc movement for body and/or joints kneading massage effect. Yet another type includes actively rotating extended massage elements, each also performs an active reciprocal arc movement for body and joints massage.
Abstract:
An exercise unit for applying a rectilinear vibration and a swing vibration to the user. The exercise unit is divided into a lateral vibration part and a swing vibration part which are driven by two separated driving motor respectively. The lateral vibration part converts a rotative motion of the motor into a rectilinear vibrating motion to provide the user with the rectilinear vibration. The swing vibration part converts the rotative motion into a swing vibrating motion to provide the user with the swing vibration. The two parts may be selectively driven by a single driving motor.
