Abstract: A manufacturing method of a fluid control device is provided. Firstly, a housing, a piezoelectric actuator and a deformable substrate are provided. The piezoelectric actuator includes a piezoelectric element and a vibration plate having a bulge. The deformable substrate includes a flexible plate and a communication plate. The flexible plate includes a movable part. Then, the flexible plate and the communication plate are stacked on and coupled with each other to form the deformable substrate. Then, the housing, the piezoelectric actuator and the deformable substrate are sequentially stacked on each other and coupled with each other. A synchronous deformation process is implemented by applying at least one external force to the deformable substrate, so that the flexible plate and the communication plate of the deformable substrate are subjected to a synchronous deformation, and a specified depth between the movable part and the bulge of the vibration plate is defined.

Abstract: A micro-gas pressure driving apparatus includes a miniature gas transportation module and a miniature valve module. The miniature gas transportation module includes a gas inlet plate, a fluid channel plate, a resonance membrane and a piezoelectric actuator. A first chamber is defined between the resonance membrane and the piezoelectric actuator. After the piezoelectric actuator is activated to feed a gas through the gas inlet plate, the gas is transferred to the first chamber through the fluid channel plate and the resonance membrane and then transferred downwardly. Consequently, a pressure gradient is generated to continuously push the gas. The miniature valve module includes a gas collecting plate, a valve membrane and a gas outlet plate. After the gas is transferred from the miniature gas transportation module to the gas-collecting chamber, the gas is transferred in one direction, so that a pressure-collecting operation or a pressure-releasing operation is selectively performed.

Abstract: A fluid transportation device includes a valve supporting module, a first fluid transportation module and a second fluid transportation module. Through the valve supporting module, the first fluid transportation module and the second fluid transportation module may be combined together in a side-by-side arrangement or a vertically-stacked arrangement. The combination of the first fluid transportation module and the second fluid transportation module can increase the flow rate and the pumping head of transporting the fluid. Moreover, the combination of two fluid transportation modules of the present fluid transportation device can be synchronously or asynchronously actuated to increase the flow rate and the pumping head of transporting the fluid. Since the additional coupling mechanism is omitted, the fabricating cost of the present fluid transportation device is largely reduced, and the overall volume of the present fluid transportation device is reduced to comply with the miniaturization requirement.

The outlet aperture is hollowed out from the gas outlet groove to the pressure relief surface and corresponding in position to the valve opening. The pressure relief hole is spaced apart from the gas outlet groove. The pressure relief trench is concavely formed from the pressure relief surface.

Abstract: An actuating and sensing module is disclosed and includes a bottom plate, terminals, a control chip, a partition plate, a gas pressure sensor, a thin gas transportation device and a cover plate. The bottom plate includes terminal grooves, a recess, a gas outlet and a gas relief aperture. The terminals are disposed in the terminal grooves. The control chip is disposed in the recess. The partition plate is stacked on the bottom plate and includes an outlet opening in communication with the gas outlet and a pressure relief orifice corresponding to the gas relief aperture. The thin gas transportation device seals the gas outlet and the pressure relief orifice. The cover plate includes an opening passed through by the thin gas transportation device. The gas is transported to the outlet opening by the thin gas transportation device and sensed by the gas pressure sensor disposed in the outlet opening.

Abstract: A fluid control device includes a piezoelectric actuator and a deformable substrate. The piezoelectric actuator includes a piezoelectric element and a vibration plate. The piezoelectric element is attached on a first surface of the vibration plate. The piezoelectric element is subjected to deformation in response to an applied voltage. The vibration plate is subjected to a curvy vibration in response to the deformation of the piezoelectric element. A bulge is formed on a second surface of the vibration plate. The deformable substrate includes a flexible plate and a communication plate, which are stacked on each other. Consequently, a synchronously-deformed structure is defined by the flexible plate and the communication plate collaboratively, and there is a specified depth maintained between the flexible plate and the bulge of the vibration plate. The flexible plate includes a movable part corresponding to the bulge of the vibration plate.

Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a casing and an actuating and sensing module. The casing includes at least one inlet aperture, at least one vent aperture, a first chamber, a second chamber and at least one communication channel. The communication channel is connected between the first chamber and the second chamber. The actuating and sensing module includes an actuating device and a sensor. The actuating device is disposed within the first chamber and closes the inlet aperture. The actuating device further includes a first protective film. The sensor is disposed within the second chamber. When the actuating device is enabled, a gas is guided into the first chamber through the inlet aperture, and the gas is transferred to the second chamber through the communication channel so as to be monitored by the sensor. After the gas is monitored, the gas is outputted from the vent aperture.

Abstract: A miniature fluid control device includes a piezoelectric actuator, a gas collecting plate and a base. The piezoelectric actuator includes a suspension plate, an outer frame, at least one bracket and a piezoelectric ceramic plate. The suspension plate is a square plate. The outer frame is arranged around the suspension plate. A surface of the outer frame and a surface of the suspension plate are coplanar with each other. The gas collecting plate is a frame body with an accommodation space. The base includes a gas inlet plate and a resonance plate. The base is disposed within the accommodation space to seal the piezoelectric actuator. An adhesive layer is arranged between the second surface of the outer frame of the piezoelectric actuator and the resonance plate. Consequently, a depth of a compressible chamber between the piezoelectric actuator and the resonance plate is maintained.

The bracket is connected between the suspension plate and the outer frame for elastically supporting the suspension plate, and includes an intermediate part formed in a vacant space between the suspension plate and the outer frame and in parallel with the outer frame and the suspension plate, a first connecting part arranged between the intermediate part and the suspension plate, and a second connecting part arranged between the intermediate part and the outer frame.
