Abstract:
A dermatological skin treatment device is provided. The device comprises a handpiece and a cutting tool, wherein the tool is inserted through the conduit and percutaneously inserted into a tissue disposed within a recessed area of the handpiece. The device and method cut the fibrous structures under the skin that cause cellulite at an angle substantially parallel to the surface of the skin and replace these structures with a non-cellulite forming structure by deploying a highly fibrous mesh through a single needle hole to create a highly fibrous layer directly or through wound healing processes.
Abstract:
A device for applying electrical stimulation to a surface of the human body utilizes a calibrated, pre-arranged pattern of conducting, current emitting elements to distribute current throughout an entire surface at once, such as human face, without needing to alter the device to accommodate various are sizes, including varying face sizes.
Abstract:
An applicator for insertion and lubrication of a body lumen is disclosed having an elongate, hollow, cylindrical outer sheath including a receiving cup at a distal end for receiving a lubrication capsule; and a plunger slidingly received within the elongate, hollow cylindrical outer sheath, the plunger including a piercing element at a distal end adapted to extend into the receiving cup. A liquid-filled soft gel capsule is placed in the receiving cup, and the piercing element is used to puncture the capsule located in the receiving cup prior to insertion of the applicator into the body lumen, and wherein the plunger can be depressed once the applicator is inserted into the body lumen to eject the pierced capsule into the body lumen.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an electrical signal applicable multi-needle syringe. The present invention comprises: a hollow cylinder; a needle hub closely coupled to the rear end of the cylinder; a plurality of needles placed at regular intervals inside the cylinder in such a way that the front ends are further protruded compared with the front end of the cylinder and the drug which is injected through the needle hub is sucked through the rear ends; a first electrode stored inside the cylinder, and commonly connected to a part of the plurality of needles; and a second electrode stored inside the cylinder, and commonly connected with the rest of the plurality of needles. Therefore, it is possible to inject a drug and to simultaneously apply a high frequency directly into the skin through a multi-needle injected into the skin by applying a high frequency between the first electrode and the second electrode, thereby promoting the activation of the injected drug.
Abstract:
The invention is to provide a pressurized gas mist bathing system, ensuring hygiene and reduction in costs, by making only one part of the system disposable. This system comprises a gas supply means 10; a gas mist generating means 30 which has a portion connecting the gas supply means 10, a liquid storage of storing a liquid, a nozzle, a liquid suction pipe of sending the liquid to the tip of the nozzle, a collision member of colliding the liquid blown up by a gas stream from the nozzle therewith, a cylindrical gas inlet supplied with the gas and leading the gas till the upper portion of the nozzle, and a donut-shaped gas mist outlet collecting and discharging the gas mist around the periphery of the gas inlet; and a pressurized living organism bathing cover 50 for covering the skin and the mucous membrane of a living organism and formed with a space for sealing inside the gas mist from the gas mist generating means; and in the gas mist generating means 30, at least the liquid storage is displaceable and replaced by another, so that liquid storage is made disposable.
Abstract:
Described is an exercise tool. More particularly, it is a therapy and exercise tool specifically devised as a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device to align, separate, and stretch toes. The foot-therapy and toe-aligning device comprises a frame with a plurality of posts connected with the frame. The device is formed of an elastic material such that a user may place at least one of the plurality of posts between a user's toes and pull the post to stretch and elongate the post between the toes. Upon release, the elastic material of the post causes the post to attempt to return to its original shape, thereby causing it to expand out and conform its shape to fit snugly against the user's toes. Additionally, the elastic material allows the toe posts to be positioned and maintained at numerous locations between the user's toes for customizable positioning between the toes.
Abstract:
Certain therapies involving delivering materials, such as light absorbing particles, to the surface of a subject's skin. Thereafter, the movement of the material into skin structures, such as follicles, is facilitated by a mechanical device such as a massager. The present application describes certain devices useful in such therapies.
Abstract:
An applicator for insertion and lubrication of a body lumen is disclosed having an elongate, hollow, cylindrical reservoir including a rounded distal end to facilitate insertion, and an aperture centrally disposed at said distal end, or central aperture together with additional apertures arranged along the cylindrical reservoir. The reservoir holds a quantity of lubricant, and a mating cylindrical plunger is provided that is sized to be received in a proximal end of the elongate, hollow cylindrical reservoir and adapted to slide within the reservoir to force said quantity of lubricant through said disposed aperture(s). Using the applicator, a body lumen can be lubricated in situ to mimic the body's own lubrication system.
Abstract:
An adult toy, such as a phallus-shaped vibrator, has a hollow core, a tip coupled to an end of the core and a handle containing a control interface allowing user control of the vibrator. The handle, which is coupled to the core at a distal end to the tip, houses a peristaltic pump that engages a flexible pipe network. The hollow core incorporates an access door that, when opened, allows loading of a reservoir cartridge into an internal compartment of the core. Under selective microprocessor control, the peristaltic pump spins its rotor assembly to engage and squeeze part of the pipe network. This squeezing effect encourages lubricant, liquid hormonal stimulant or other chemical solutions to exit the cartridge and controllably flow through the pipe network. With ejection of lubricant from the cartridge, the internal volume of the cartridge decreases.
