A filter arrangement for threadably securing to a filter head includes a housing having a surrounding wall defining an interior volume, an open mouth providing access to the interior volume and an end opposite of the open mouth. The surrounding wall has an exterior and an interior. A filter media construction is operably held within the interior volume. A sleeve, distinct from the housing, is secured to the exterior of the surrounding wall adjacent to the housing mouth and extending partially along the surrounding wall. The sleeve has an exterior and an interior. The exterior of the sleeve defines mounting threads constructed and arranged to removably mount with the filter head, when the filter arrangement is secured to the filter head. The interior of the sleeve is against the exterior of the surrounding wall. A first seal member is oriented against the sleeve to create a seal with a filter head, when the filter arrangement is secured to the filter head. A filter assembly includes a filter arrangement and a filter head. The filter arrangement is removably secured to the filter head by a threaded connection between the sleeve and the filter head. A system includes an engine utilizing a liquid and a filter assembly in fluid communication with the engine to filter the liquid. Methods of making filter arrangements include utilizing structures characterized above.

A fuel supply device includes a pump unit that sucks stored fuel in a fuel tank from a suction port and discharges the fuel to an outside of the fuel tank. A pressure regulating valve performs pressure regulation of fuel discharged from the pump unit. The pressure regulating valve includes a return port having an opening facing in a separating direction away from the suction port, and returns surplus fuel generated by the pressure regulation from the return port into the fuel tank. A suction filter encloses an internal space where the suction port is open, and filters the stored fuel entering the internal space. The suction filter includes an expansion part to which the internal space is extended, and the expansion part is on a side of the return port that faces in the separating direction.

A drain control device for a filter system for filtering a media flow of a first medium and a second medium, wherein the second medium separated from the media flow collects in a collecting chamber of the filter system, has sensor arrangement with at least a first sensor unit and a second sensor unit. The first and second sensor units detect a filling level of the second medium in the collecting chamber. The first and second sensor units operate based on a different action mechanism, respectively. One or more shut-off valves are arranged at a media outlet of the collecting chamber. The first and second sensor units are operatively connected with the one or more shut-off valves to automatically drain the second medium from the collecting chamber through the media outlet when a drain criterion is reached. A filter system with such a drain control device is provided.

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a liquid processing apparatus, including: a housing having an upper end opening and a sealed bottom; a cover covering the upper end opening of the housing; a sealing portion provided inside the housing, it being sealed between the sealing portion and an inner wall of the housing, and a sealed accommodation space being formed between the sealing portion and the bottom of the housing; a processing portion provided within the accommodation space and configured to process a liquid flowing into the accommodation space, an upper end of the processing portion having a guide portion; a liquid inflow portion and a liquid outflow portion provided at an upper part of the housing. According the embodiment of the present disclosure, the liquid inflow portion and the liquid outflow portion are provided at the upper part of the housing, which may facilitate installation of the liquid inflow portion and the liquid outflow portion. In one example, a filter includes a movable pin cage that has a first pre-installation position adjacent the bottom end plate and is temporarily connected thereto by a snap connection system, and a second position adjacent the upper end plate where it performs a valve interaction function. In another example, a filter includes non-centered valve pins that are rotatable relative to an upper end plate of the filter.

The invention relates to a filter device, comprising a plurality of filter elements (21), which can be received in a filter housing having a filter inlet for a fluid to be filtered and a filter outlet for the filtered fluid, wherein flow through the filter elements (21) is possible in both directions for filtration or backwashing. Because the shut-off element (41) is a fast-closing plate valve (43), which can be actuated by means of a hydraulic piston (53) and blocks the fluid connection mentioned above so quickly that a feeding effect is created in the manner of a pressure blow on the backwashed filter element (21), said feeding effect increasing the cleaning of pollution on the filter element (21), an improved backwashing cleaning is achieved.

A filter device has a filter housing part (10) with a filter element (12) and can be detachably connected to another filter housing part (20). A valve (24) clears a fluid path in the interconnected state of the housing parts (10, 20) with the filter element, and in the separated state of the housing parts (10, 20) from one another or without the filter element at least partially blocks it. Instead of known quarter-turn fastener and stopper solutions, a blocking is devised which can be economically implemented and which requires decidedly less installation space. A process for operation of a filter device is also provided.

A water filtration system including a manifold assembly and a cartridge filter for reducing water system leaks and reducing installation time. The manifold assembly including at least a first inline valve eliminates the need for valve connections downstream of a water filtration system. The manifold assembly can includes an inlet flow circuit, a distribution flow circuit and at least a first in-line valve. The first in-line valve can include a valve stop located within the distribution circuit. The distribution circuit can include an integral valve seat such that positioning the valve stop with respect to the integral valve seat selectively controls water flow. The first in-line valve can have a control element allowing for external control. The manifold assembly can further include a second in-line valve having a second valve stop located within the distribution circuit. Both the first and second in-line valves can be solenoid valves.
