Abstract: A zoom lens is provided, which includes an electrode pattern on a substrate, and a liquid-crystal material on the electrode pattern. The electrode pattern includes a plurality of concentric ring electrodes surrounding an innermost electrode. Each of the concentric ring electrodes has an opening. A first trace extends from a first electrode out of an outermost concentric ring electrode to the innermost electrode. The first trace has greater resistance than the concentric ring electrodes and the innermost electrode. A second trace connecting the innermost electrode and a second electrode out of the outermost concentric ring electrode through the openings. The liquid-crystal material includes a liquid-crystal compound with a chemical structure of wherein R is C4-10 alkyl group, n=1 or 2, and each of X is independently H or F.

Abstract: Provided is a liquid crystal lens having low wavefront aberration. A liquid crystal lens (1) includes a liquid crystal layer (11), a first electrode (21), a second electrode (22), and a third electrode (23). The first electrode (21) is provided with an opening (21a) and a communicating cutout (21b) formed therein, the communicating cutout (21b) allowing the opening (21a) to communicate with the outside. The second electrode (22) includes a main electrode portion (22a) and a linear leading electrode portion (22b). The main electrode portion (22a) is disposed within the opening (21a). The main electrode portion (22a) is electrically insulated from the first electrode (21). The leading electrode portion (22b) is electrically connected to the main electrode portion (22a). The leading electrode portion (22b) is disposed within the communicating cutout (21b). The third electrode (23) faces at least part of the first and second electrodes (21, 22). A junction of the leading electrode portion (22b) with the main electrode portion (22a) has a width of 70 μm or less.

By forming spacer strips which make a pixel electrode and a common electrode protruded on the array substrate, the horizontal electric field is enhance, the longitudinal electric field is suppressed, and thus the transmittance can be improved.

Abstract: An array substrate and a touch display panel are provided. An auxiliary electrode layer is additionally provided in the array substrate. The auxiliary electrode layer may be located between a common electrode layer and a wiring layer, or located on a side of the wiring layer facing toward the substrate. The auxiliary electrode layer is provided to reduce coupling capacitance between the wiring and the touch display electrode. With the auxiliary electrode layer additionally provided in the array substrate, the coupling capacitance between the wiring and the touch display electrode block is reduced, thereby improving accuracy of the touch detection.

Abstract: A blue phase liquid crystal module, a blue phase LCD and the manufacturing are disclosed. The blue phase liquid crystal module includes an up substrate; a down substrate opposite to the up substrate; and blue phase liquid crystals between the up substrate and the down substrate. The down substrate includes at least one wave-shaped insulation layer being arranged with respect to the up substrate and the down substrate. The reflective layer is arranged in a portion of the down substrate. Pixel electrodes and common electrodes are arranged alternately at valleys and at peaks of the wave-shaped insulation layer, and the blue phase liquid crystals are driven by at least one slant electrical field generated between the pixel electrode and the common electrode.

Abstract: A blue phase liquid crystal display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The blue phase liquid crystal display panel comprises a lower substrate and an upper substrate. A horizontal electric field between the two substrates can be strengthened while a vertical electric field between the two substrates can be weakened through arranging a pixel electrode and a common electrode on the upper substrate and the lower substrate as well as a first fringe electric field and a second fringe electric field generated therein respectively, so that a driving voltage of the blue phase liquid crystal can be reduced.
