Abstract: The redundant power supply device includes a power output port, a converter, a comparator unit and an output protection switch. The output protection switch is electrically connected between an output terminal of the converter and the power output port, and the comparator unit compares the voltage across the output protection switch and controls the output protection switch accordingly. The redundant power supply device has a control module that performs a protection control method. When the voltage of the power output port is higher than a preset voltage value and the output current is lower than a preset current value, the control module outputs a short turn-off signal to the enable terminal of the comparator unit, preventing the comparator unit from failing to perform the output protection as designed due to external abnormal slow rising voltage, and ensuring the redundant power supply unit operates normally.

Abstract: A totem-pole PFC and a current-sampling unit of the totem-pole PFC are provided. The totem-pole PFC is electrically connected to an AC power source and a DC-to-DC converter, and is electrically connected to a load through the DC-to-DC converter. The current-sampling unit has a first sampling switch and a second sampling switch. The first sampling switch and the second sampling switch are controlled to be turned on and turned off so that a magnetizing current flows through the magnetizing inductor when a magnetizing inductor is magnetized and a demagnetizing current does not flow through the sampling resistor when the magnetizing inductor is demagnetized, thereby increasing the demagnetization efficiency and overcoming superimposed operations to improve current detection and increase conversion efficiency of the power conversion.

Abstract: A control method for an active clamp converter has steps of: detecting a state of the load; when the state of the load is a light-load state, using a skipping mode to control a switch frequency of a master switch; when the state of the load is not the light-load state, using an ACF mode to control the switch frequency of the master switch. In the skipping mode, the switch frequency is decreased when the state of the load is getting light, thus providing an energy efficiency power saving function for the light-load state. In the ACF mode, the master switch is controlled to turn on while a reverse current is generated, thus the switching loss of the master switch is reduced.

Abstract: A universal power supply system allows each board mounted DC power module or each AC/DC power supply device therein having identical dimensions and appearance to further have a specification setting circuit. When the board mounted DC power module or the AC/DC power supply device is plugged in a backboard module, the specification setting terminal outputs a specification identification signal to a monitoring circuit of the backboard module. Abstract: An AC backup power system controls a power supply to selectively connect to a primary AC power source or a backup AC power source through a switching module. The switching module is controlled by a monitoring module. The monitoring module has a power monitoring unit, a first circuit switch, a second circuit switch, and a first processor. When the power monitoring unit detects an interruption of primary AC current, the first circuit switch that is normally closed is immediately turned off. The first processor then drives the switching module to connect to the backup AC power source. Once the backup AC power source reaches the zero-crossing point, the second circuit switch is turned on so that the backup AC power source provides power to the power supply. The power supply receives power at the zero-crossing point to avoid problems of sparks and coke deposition.
