Abstract: A semiconductor structure, system and method. The semiconductor structure comprises: a substrate including circuitry therein; and a semiconductor stack on the substrate, the semiconductor stack including: a first electrically conductive layer including a metal and electrically coupled to the circuitry of the substrate; and a second electrically conductive layer between the substrate and the first electrically conductive layer, the second electrically conductive layer including one of a refractory metal, or a combination including silicon, carbon and nitride. The second electrically conductive layer may serve as a barrier layer between the first electrically conductive layer and the material of the underlying substrate, in this manner avoiding the formation of an intermixing region between the metal of the first electrically conductive layer and the material of the substrate during deposition of the metal.

Abstract: Technologies to facilitate supervision of an online identify include a gateway server to facilitate and monitor access to an online service by a user of a “child” client computer device. The gateway server may include an identity manager to receive a request for access to the online service from the client computing device, retrieve access information to the online service, and facilitate access to the online service for the client computing device using the access information. The access information is kept confidential from the user. The gateway server may also include an activity monitor module to control activity between the client computing device and the online service based on the set of policy rules of a policy database. The gateway server may transmit notifications of such activity to a “parental” client computing device for review and/or approval, which also may be used to update the policy database.

Abstract: Technologies for predictive caching include a computing device to receive sensor data generated by one or more sensors of the computing device and determine a device context of the computing device based on the sensor data. Based on the device context, the computing device determines a file to cache that has similar characteristics to another file recently accessed by a user of the computing device. The computing device includes a file cache with a first partition to store files identified to have similar characteristics to files recently accessed by a user and a second partition to store files identified based on access patterns of the user. The computing device stores the determined file to the first partition.
