    Abstract: A single camera module able to swivel to capture images in front of and behind an electronic device includes a housing, a camera module, and a turnover element. The turnover element includes a support plate and a connecting portion. The housing is arranged on the support plate, thus forming a receiving space together with the support plate. The camera assembly is received in the receiving space. The connecting portion is arranged on the support plate and located on an outside of the housing. The disclosure further provides an electronic device including the camera module.

    Abstract: A robust lens module of reduced size includes an optical filter and a mounting bracket assembly. The mounting bracket assembly includes a first mounting frame and a second mounting frame. The first mounting frame is made of resin and includes side portions defining a receiving space. The second mounting frame includes a black oxidized metal sheet. The second mounting frame is divided into a first connecting ring, a second connecting ring, and a supporting ring. The first connecting ring is fixed on the side portions, the second connecting ring is connected to an inner side of the first connecting ring and protrudes into the receiving space, the supporting ring is connected to a side of the second connecting ring facing away from the first connecting ring. A device utilizing the lens module is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A camera device allowing for easy and reliable mating to a circuit board includes a printed circuit board, an imaging sensor mounted on the printed circuit board, a supporting bracket mounted on the printed circuit board and surrounding the imaging sensor, and a lens module received in the supporting bracket. The printed circuit board includes a first portion and an extending portion connecting with the first portion, the first portion defines a first location and a second location. The first location surrounds the imaging sensor, and the second location is located outside of the first location and adjacent to the extending portion. The heat-generating light source emits a laser beam, the optical module being mounted on the printed circuit board and surrounding the light source. The optical module comprises a lens holder, a collimating optical element received in the lens holder, and a diffractive optical element away from the light source. The lens holder comprises an outer lens holder and an inner lens holder fixed in the outer lens holder, and the diffractive optical element is received in the inner lens holder, this arrangement enables the dissipation of any heat-expansion force away from these elements.

    Abstract: A voice coil motor with extended and stabilized travelling distance for lens-focusing includes a housing, a first spring, a carrier, a second spring, and a base. The first and second springs, diametrically apart, are connected between an inner surface of the housing and a side of the carrier. The base includes an insulating base plate on the second spring and coupled to the housing, and a metal connecting member on a side of the insulating base plate and welded to the second spring, providing a reliable connection to the base. The risk of the second spring accidentally falling off is reduced.
