Abstract:
An in-situ applicator for applying a composition in a pipe comprises a flow diverter configured to receive a composition and eject the composition from at least one outlet. The applicator also comprises a hollow conical body having a narrow end, a broad end, and an interior surface configured to receive the composition ejected from the flow diverter. The conical body also has a plurality of holes forming a band that wraps circumferentially around the conical body which defines a flow region on the interior surface between the band and the narrow end. The band includes first holes adjacent to the flow region where each of the first holes has a first average diameter and second holes disposed between the first holes and the broad end, each of the second holes having an average diameter greater than the first diameter.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a wheel mold spraying device, which is composed of a frame, a servo motor, a servo electric cylinder, a hollow shaft, a nozzle and the like. Four side molds of a wheel are respectively placed on four slide plates; hand wheels are rotated to adjust the slide plates to proper positions through lead screws and guide rails; the servo motor drives the rotation of the hollow shaft and the nozzle through belt wheels and a synchronous belt, and the nozzle is automatically opened; and through guide posts, the servo electric cylinder lifts the nozzle to the top end while rotating, in which case the process of spraying for the four side molds can be completed.
Abstract:
A directional cold spray nozzle defines a flow passageway that includes a bend for redirecting flow from a first flow direction to a second flow direction different from the first flow direction, wherein the flow passageway is divergent through at least a portion of the bend. The flow passageway may be convergent prior to becoming divergent in the path of flow. The directional cold spray nozzle simultaneously accelerates the powder and carrier gas and changes the spray direction of the spray plume to reach interior bore surfaces and other surfaces that are difficult or impossible to reach with a straight nozzle.
Abstract:
Universal plasma spray extension gun systems and devices for thermal spraying of machine components are disclosed. In one embodiment, a plasma gun extension system includes: a plasma extension arm; an arm connector disposed on the plasma extension arm and configured to connect to an adjustable plasma spray gun apparatus; an arm coupler disposed on the plasma extension arm and configured to connect the plasma extension arm to a robotic arm; and a set of feed conduits disposed on the plasma extension arm between the arm coupler and the arm connector, the set of feed conduits configured to supply a flow to the adjustable plasma spray gun apparatus.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus is disclosed for additive manufacturing and three-dimensional printing, and specifically for extruding tubular objects. A print head extrudes a curable material into a tubular object, while simultaneously curing the tubular object and utilizing the interior of the cured portion of the tubular object for stabilizing and propelling the print head.
Abstract:
A backpressure injection foot is provided. The backpressure injection foot includes an injection nozzle for applying an adhesive flowing therethrough onto a planar object having a core structure; and a backpressure foot attached to a distal end of the injection nozzle, wherein the backpressure foot is configured to cover a portion of a plurality of cores disposed within the planar object to facilitate application of the adhesive from a proximal surface of the planar object through to a distal surface of the planar object.
Abstract:
A system and a method provide a coating on an interior surface of a tire. A valve connects to the interior of the tire. The method connects a source of coating material to the valve, propels the coating material through the valve, and applies the coating material to the interior of the tire. The system has a source of a coating material connected to the valve. A propellant causes delivery of the coating material through the valve into the tire. Another method coats an interior of a tire mounted on a rim. The method connects a first end of a tube to a source of coating material and inserts the second end of the tube into the interior of the tire encircling the rim. The coating material moves through the tube into the tire. The tube is withdrawn from the tire moving along the interior circumference of the tire.

Abstract:
Systems and methods for painting, which might be used to paint the soil in a golf hole are provided. A spraying device can comprise a first masking apparatus, a second masking apparatus coupled to the first and a paint dispersing device, between the first and second masking apparatus. The paint may disperse from a single nozzle that can include multiple individual exit points for the spray. In another embodiment, the single nozzle includes an exit point and a flat or curved plate to direct the spray. Alternatively, the paint dispersing apparatus may comprise multiple nozzles. The nozzles may be provided with paint using tubes connecting from a paint source, such as an aerosol paint can, to each nozzle. The first masking apparatus can be a golf cup mask and the second masking apparatus can be a putting green mask.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an inlet for a tank which is intended for a liquid food product. The inlet is placed in the side wall of the tank and at the upper end of the tank. The inlet is further designed so that the inflowing product is distributed in fan-shape along the inside of the tank. The application also includes a method of supplying liquid food product to a tank.
