    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to new types of low oil bleeding thermal interface materials, such as thermal gap pad materials, which may be in the form of a thermally conductive gasket. In exemplary embodiments, a thermal interface material comprises a matrix material and a thermally conductive filler. The thermally conductive filler has particles which are approximately spherical in shape when observed using a scanning electron microscope, an average particle diameter (D50) of 2-120 μm, and an average degree of sphericity of 70-90%. According to the present disclosure, by using a quasi-spherical thermally conductive filler having a specific sphericity, oil bleeding can be prevented, mitigated, or reduced while achieving high thermal conductivity compared to the case of using a perfectly spherical or irregularly shaped thermally conductive filler.

    Abstract: Provided is a rubber composition having excellent wear resistance while having good low heat generating properties. The rubber composition contains a rubber component and carbon black, where the rubber component contains natural rubber and butadiene rubber, a proportion of the natural rubber is less than 80% by mass, a content of the carbon black is 40 parts by mass or more and 100 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, and when carbon blacks A, B and C are defined under predetermined conditions, the carbon black contains at least the carbon black A and the carbon black B, and a content of the carbon black C is 0 or the smallest among the carbon blacks A to C.

    Abstract: An aluminum nitride particle including at least a first truncated six-sided pyramid (1-a) and a second truncated six-sided pyramid (1-b), the aluminum nitride particle having a shape such that a lower base (3) of the first truncated six-sided pyramid (1-a) and a lower base (3) of the second truncated six-sided pyramid (1-b) face each other, the first truncated six-sided pyramid (1-a) and the second truncated six-sided pyramid (1-b) each having an upper base (2) with an area S1 of not less than 60 μm2 and not more than 4800 μm2, and each having a ratio (S1/S2) of the area S1 to an area S2 of the lower base (3) being not less than 0.5 and less than 1, the first truncated six-sided pyramid (1-a) and the second truncated six-sided pyramid (1-b) respectively having a height h1 and a height h2 each being not less than 5 μm and not more than 20 μm.
