An illumination device comprising a connection carrier (1), at least one light-emitting diode (10), an electrically insulating layer (3) and a fixing device (4) is specified. The connection carrier (1) has a first main area (1a) and a second main area (1b) remote from the first main area. The light-emitting diode (10) is fixed on the first main area (1a) of the connection carrier (1). The electrically insulating layer (3) is fitted to the second main area (1b) of the connection carrier (1) and projects laterally beyond the second main area (1b) of the connection carrier (1). The fixing device (4) is suitable for fixing the illumination device to a mounting area (2a) of a carrier (2), wherein the electrically insulating layer (3) is arranged between the second main area (1b) of the connection carrier (1) and the mounting area (2a) of the carrier (2). Furthermore, the fixing device (4) presses the connection carrier (1) against the mounting area (2a). The pressure exerted in this way is used to effect a fixing of the insulating layer (3) between the second main area (1b) of the connection carrier (1) and the mounting area (2a). The fixing device (4) is connected to an optical element (8), which optically influences the light generated by the light-emitting diode (10) during operation.

A terminal structure for a vehicle-mounted motor includes a motor body having a motor terminal 28 connected to a coil, and a circuit body 5 holding a circuit board 18 for controlling a rotation of the motor body and is assembled in the motor body, wherein a stress relaxation section 35 is provided in an intermediate of an intermediate conductor 34, in order to reduce stress acting on the intermediate conductor 34 connecting the motor terminal 28 and the circuit board 18 and to thereby improve the conductive reliability of electrical joint.

The present invention provides a contact for connection with an electronic component. The contact includes: a base part; a supporting part, provided on top of the base part for supporting a lead terminal of the electronic component; and at least two clamp parts, provided on top of the base part so as to be located on respective outer sides of the supporting part. An electrical junction box that can enhance reliability in connection between terminal metals and a circuit board includes a casing, a circuit board contained in the casing, a plurality of fuse side terminal metals including board connecting portions electrically coupled to the circuit board, terminal portions adapted to detachably receive fuses in a direction along a surface of the circuit board; and a holder for holding the plural terminal metals in an alignment manner. Each of the fuse side terminal metals is provided with a leg projecting toward the circuit board and is disposed forward of each board connecting portion in a detachable direction of each fuse. The circuit board is provided with through-holes that receive the legs.

Methods and means for embedding electronic components, such as LED-based light sources and associated control circuitry, into molded or continuously cast surface materials (e.g., material manufactured under the trademark CORIAN®). During the manufacture of the surface material, the components can be held in position using a scaffold or frame constructed of a sacrificial material, the same material as the finished surface material and/or another material used in the manufacture of the finished product. The embedded components can include control circuitry, e.g., printed circuit boards, for separately controlling each component, power conductors and data busses. Conductors and/or busses can be in the form of conductive rails, wire mesh or sheets. Access to the conductors in the finished product can be made by a number of methods, including but not limited to sanding, grinding, drilling into, screwing into, and/or inserting pins into the finished material.

Provided is an electronic control device, including: a housing (3) which includes opening portions at both end portions thereof and is made of insulating resin; a heat sink (5) attached to one of the end portions of the housing (3); a power device (2) provided to the heat sink (5); a circuit board (4) which is provided so as to be opposed to the heat sink (5) and formed with an electronic circuit including a control circuit for controlling the power device (2); and a plurality of first conductive plates (6) held in the housing (3), for electrically connecting the circuit board (4) with the power device (2), in which each of the plurality of first conductive plates (6) includes a press fit terminal (6bp) press-fitted into a through hole (4a) formed in the circuit board (4) to be bonded to the circuit board (4) on a surface opposed to the circuit board (4) and to be bonded to respective terminals of the power device (2) on a surface opposed to the heat sink (5). Accordingly, an electronic control device whose size and cost are reduced and whose electrical connection reliability is improved is obtained.

According to the configuration and the manufacturing method of forming a moisture proof agent on both surfaces of a circuit substrate after soldering a capacitor connection pin in a vertical direction to the circuit substrate, and electrically connecting the capacitor so as to be in a perpendicular direction to the length direction of the capacitor connection pin at the upper space of the circuit substrate, the possibility of the moisture proof agent attaching to the capacitor is eliminated, the productivity enhances since the moisture proof agent can be easily formed on both surfaces of the circuit substrate, and a capacitor unit of miniaturized and low height configuration is realized since the capacitor is mounted in the horizontal direction in the upper space with respect to the circuit substrate.

The device has at least one contacting element (4), which is attached with an attachment end (10) to the circuit board (3), and which is in contact with a terminal end (14) in a neutral position and under pre-tension with the circuit board (3), as well as with a handling element (5), which can be used to reversibly pull out the terminal end (14) of the contacting element, or each contacting element (4) from the neutral position into the opened position, in which the terminal end, or each terminal end (14) is positioned at a sufficient distance from the circuit board (3) to enable the flat conductor (2) to be inserted without applying pressure.
