    Abstract: A vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a body coupled to the chassis rearward of the cab, a bracket, and a valve assembly. The body defines a compartment. The body includes a bottom wall defining a horizontal plane and a front wall defining a vertical plane. The bracket has an arm that is coupled to and extends rearward from the front wall into the compartment at an angle such that the arm is neither parallel with the horizontal plane nor parallel with the vertical plane. The valve assembly is coupled to the bracket such that at least a portion of the valve assembly is disposed within the compartment.

    Abstract: A rocker arm assembly constructed in accordance to one example of the present disclosure includes an outer rocker arm, a first inner rocker arm, and a second inner rocker arm. The first inner rocker arm is configured to move between a latched and unlatched position relative to the outer rocker arm. The second inner rocker arm is configured to move between a latched and unlatch position relative to the outer rocker arm. The rocker arm assembly provides at least three distinct lift profiles including (i) a first lift profile when the first inner rocker arm is latched and the second inner rocker arm is unlatched, (ii) a second lift profile when the second inner rocker arm is latched and the first inner rocker arm is unlatched, and (iii) a third lift profile when both the first and second inner rocker arms are unlatched.

    Abstract: A valve actuation system comprises at least one main rocker arm operatively connected to a first engine valve, the at least one main rocker arm configured to receive at least main valve actuation motions. A second rocker arm is operatively connected to a second engine valve, the second rocker arm being configured to receive first auxiliary valve actuation motions. The second rocker arm further comprising a hydraulically-controlled first actuator that can selectively couple or decouple the second rocker arm and the second engine valve thereby permitting or preventing conveyance of the first auxiliary valve actuation motions from the second rocker arm to the second engine valve. A one-way coupling mechanism disposed between the at least one main rocker arm and the second rocker arm permits valve actuation motions to be transferred from the at least one main rocker arm to the second rocker arm, but not vice versa.

    Abstract: A device for actuating at least one valve in an internal combustion engine includes a camshaft arrangement including a hollow outer shaft and an inner shaft, which is concentrically mounted inside of the outer shaft to be pivotable relative to the outer shaft. A first cam lobe is mounted on one of the inner shaft and the outer shaft in a rotationally fixed manner and a second cam lobe is mounted on the other of the inner shaft and the outer shaft in a rotationally fixed manner. The device further includes a rocker arm arrangement including a first primary rocker arm, which is arranged to follow the first cam lobe and arranged to actuate a first valve when it follows the first cam lobe. The rocker arm arrangement further includes an auxiliary rocker arm, which is arranged to follow the second cam lobe. The auxiliary rocker arm is adapted to actuate the first primary rocker arm so that an opening tune of the first valve may be extended by the auxiliary rocker arm following the second cam lobe.
