    Abstract: A variable valve device includes a pair of cam housings separated in a predetermined direction, a rocker shaft supported by the pair of cam housings, rocker arms supported by the rocker shaft, a connecting pin disposed in a pin hole of one of the rocker arms, a return pin disposed in a pin hole of another of the rocker arms, a pressing member that causes the connecting pin to push the return pin to the other side, a repulsive member that causes the return pin to push back the connecting pin to one side, and an upper housing supported at both ends by upper surfaces of the pair of cam housings. In the variable valve device, the upper housing is formed with a first accommodation hole in which the pressing member is disposed and a second accommodation hole in which the repulsive member is disposed.

    Abstract: An improved cylinder head valve assembly design 10 that allows the valve head 16 to open and close at higher RPM's without valve float and no lash adjustments. More power is generated which can equate to better gas mileage. The design also allows for a lighter camshaft 30 enclosed in an oil compartment 62 for better cooling and less overall engine weight.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an engine assembly for a vehicle. The engine assembly comprises an engine including a cylinder head and an engine block. The engine block comprises a cylinder block and a crankcase having a crankshaft.     Abstract: A camshaft assembly for attachment to a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, the camshaft assembly includes a one-piece camshaft bearing cap having an internal bearing surface sized to receive a portion of a camshaft therein, the internal bearing surface configured to support the portion of the camshaft between 180 degrees and 360 degrees circumferentially. The one-piece camshaft bearing cap is removable from the camshaft to enable line of sight access by an operator to the cylinder head. The internal bearing surface has oil supply grooves fluidly coupled to drillings for operation of a cam phaser assembled with a drive member and the camshaft. Head bolts are used to attach the cylinder head to the engine and are accessible upon removal of the camshaft bearing cap and camshaft. Standard camshaft bearing caps can be assembled with the camshaft and the cylinder head at various attachment points.

    Abstract: A center pivot roller rocker arm assembly can comprise a main roller rocker arm, a second roller rocker arm, and a latching assembly. The main roller rocker arm can comprise a rocker shaft bore, a valve end, a cam end, and a main cam surface on the cam end. The second roller rocker arm can comprise a second rocker shaft bore, a second cam end, and a second cam surface on the second cam end. The latching assembly can be coupled to the rocker shaft bore and configured to latch and unlatch the main roller rocker arm to the second roller rocker arm. A lost motion assembly can be configured with the main and second roller rocker arms. A main cam surface can have a different extent for receiving cam actuation than a second cam surface.
