Abstract: A method may include receiving, by a wireless device, downlink control information (DCI) scheduling transmission of a channel state information (CSI) report on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission with a transport block, one or more first repetitions of the PUSCH transmission with a first spatial domain transmission filter, and one or more second repetitions of the PUSCH transmission with a second spatial domain transmission filter. The method may include transmitting the CSI report on an earliest repetition of the one or more first repetitions of the PUSCH transmission with the transport block, and an earliest repetition of the one or more second repetitions of the PUSCH transmission with the transport block.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the communications field, and provide an information transmission method, apparatus, and system, which determine a subframe used in enhanced transmission of first information, improving transmission reliability of the first information. The information transmission method includes: determining a subframe for enhanced transmission of first information, where the first information is a master information block, or the first information is a system information block (SIB) including a time division duplex (TDD) configuration, or the first information is an SIB including a multicast-broadcast single-frequency network (MBSFN) subframe configuration; and performing the enhanced transmission of the first information in the determined subframe for the enhanced transmission of the first information.

Abstract: A controller includes a link interface that is to couple to a first link to communicate bi-directional data and a second link to transmit unidirectional error-detection information. An encoder is to dynamically add first error-detection information to at least a portion of write data. A transmitter, coupled to the link interface, is to transmit the write data. A delay element is coupled to an output from the encoder. A receiver, coupled to the link interface, is to receive second error-detection information corresponding to at least the portion of the write data. Error-detection logic is coupled to an output from the delay element and an output from the receiver. The error-detection logic is to determine errors in at least the portion of the write data by comparing the first error-detection information and the second error-detection information, and, if an error is detected, is to assert an error condition.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) receiver to reduce the number of retransmission of packets needed to receive an error free packet so as to improve channel throughput. Techniques to reduce the number of retransmissions include a combination of processing of the header of the received packets to increase the number of corrupted packets available for reconstructing the original payload and bit error correction (BEC) of the payload of the corrupted packets. Header processing may include making available for payload reconstruction a packet whose received access address differs by no more than 1-bit from an assigned address of the receiver provided at least one of the corrupted packets used in the reconstruction contains an error-free access address. Header processing may also include using a prior error-free decoded length of the packet to aid in the determination of the length field of a current packet.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) selects first and second radio resources from respective first and second pools of radio resources. In one example these are primarily allocated for contention-free and scheduling-based channel access, respectively. Content to duplicate in parallel communications is selected based at least on a characteristic of uplink data waiting to be sent (such as size) and/or on the selected first and second radio resources (such as timing difference between them). The UE transmits the selected content on each of the selected first and second radio resources. In the examples the content to duplicate was selected from among the uplink data to send and a scheduling request message. In various embodiments one of these transmissions indicates it's a duplicate, and the duplicated scheduling request message is transmitted on the first resource with the uplink data. These teachings are particularly useful for URLLC data.
