Abstract: A conducting structure is provided and includes a first layer; a first terminal on the first layer; a second layer overlapping the first layer via the first terminal; a second terminal on the second layer; a first hole which penetrates the second layer and the second terminal; an organic insulating layer located between the first terminal and the second layer, and having a second hole connected to the first hole; and a connecting material provided in the first and second holes to electrically connect the first terminal and the second terminal to each other, wherein a diameter of the second hole is greater than a diameter of the first hole.

Abstract: Methods of making a top-plane connection in an electro-optic device and devices including such connections. A through hole is created through a rear substrate to provide a connection between a conductor coupled to the rear substrate and a light-transmissive conductive layer coupled to a top transparent substrate. The hole is subsequently filled with a top-plane connection material that provides an electrical connection between the conductor and the light-transmissive conductive layer, but does not provide an electrical connection between a separate rear conductive layer and the light-transmissive conductor.

Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of gate lines extending in a first direction on the display area, a plurality of source lines extending in a second direction, a plurality of lead-out lines extending in the second direction and for transmitting gate signals to the plurality of gate lines. A plurality of connecting portions each electrically connects one gate line to one lead-out line. The plurality of connecting portions pass through a first insulating layer at a plurality of jointing points which are selected among a plurality of overlapping points where the plurality of lead-out lines and the plurality of gate lines overlap in a plane area.

Abstract: A display includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a backlight source, a driving integrated circuit and a conductive portion. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The backlight source is disposed at a first side of the second substrate. The driving integrated circuit is disposed at a second side, opposite to the first side, of the second substrate. The conductive portion is electrically coupled to the driving integrated circuit and passes through the second substrate to be electrically coupled to the backlight source. Furthermore, a display manufacturing method thereof is also disclosed here.
