Abstract: Robotic wings for an aerial drone include a plurality of armwing structures, each comprising a plurality of rigid members connected together by flexible living hinges in a single monolithic structure. Wing membranes are supported by the armwing structures. A drive mechanism is connected to the armwing structures for articulating the armwing structures. A motor is connected to the drive mechanism for actuating the drive mechanism to move the armwing structures through a series of wingbeats wherein the armwing structures expand in a downstroke and retract in an upstroke to move the wing membranes in a flapping motion.

Abstract: Embodiments provide functionality for identifying joints and limbs in images. An embodiment extracts features from an image to generate feature maps and, in turn, processes the feature maps using a single convolutional neural network trained based on a target model that includes joints and limbs. The processing generates both a directionless joint confidence map indicating confidence with which pixels in the image depict one or more joints and a directionless limb confidence map indicating confidence with which the pixels in the image depict one or more limbs between adjacent joints of the one or more joints, wherein adjacency of joints is provided by the target model. To continue, indications of the one or more joints and the one or more limbs in the image are generated using the directionless joint confidence map, the directionless limb confidence map, and the target model. Embodiments can be deployed on mobile and embedded systems.

The system comprises a shunt water collector, sub-water supply pipelines, a control valve group and a control system. The control method comprises a water pressure regulating method and a water flow regulating method. The shunt water collector adopts multi-pipeline uniform flow design and realizes uniform shunt and constant pressure water supply. The sub-water supply pipelines are designed with three configuration modes of a control valve group in accordance with varieties and specifications of metal plate strips, rhythms of production and heat treatment technologies to realize dual closed-loop control of water pressure-water flow.

The sample is deposited into the system and a molecule having an electric charge in the sample attaches to a layer in a well of the apparatus, allowing for a sensor connected to the apparatus to identify the molecule.
