Abstract: In order to address a conventional problem that there is no information processing apparatus for simulating processing in the brain, an information processing apparatus is configured such that one or more pieces of feature information are transferred between somas, each soma may fire using one or more pieces of accepted feature information, a firing pattern, which is a pattern of firing of one or more somas, is acquired, and output information corresponding to the firing pattern is acquired and output. Accordingly, it is possible to realize information processing for simulating processing in the brain. Also, it is possible to realize information processing for simulating processing in the brain, such as growth processing, apoptosis processing, and learning processing of elements such as somas.

The radio relay apparatus comprises a floating object provided with a radio relay station and controlled to be located in a floating airspace with an altitude less than or equal to 100 [km] by an autonomous control or an external control, an optical communication section for performing optical communication with an optical communication destination via an optical antenna apparatus controllable to change outgoing directional beam, an information acquisition section for acquiring at least one of optical-beam control information provided with a radio relay station and a reception sensitivity of the optical communication section, and a beam control section for controlling a directional beam of the optical antenna apparatus based on information acquired by the information acquisition section.

Abstract: A base station, a mobile communication system and a handover control method are provided, which are capable of preventing a handover failure and a ping-pong handover phenomenon which are caused by an interference from a neighboring cell to a serving cell. When a received power difference (S2−S1) between a received power S2 from a neighboring second base station, which is fed back from a mobile station, and a received power S1 from first base station, becomes larger than a predetermined threshold value, the first base station to which the mobile station is connected requests the second base station to stop a transmission of a downlink signal including at least one of a data signal and a control signal. In response to the transmission-stop request, the second base station performs a determination of a radio resource in which the transmission of the downlink signal is to be stopped and a notification of the radio resource to the first base station, and stops a transmission of a downlink signal. The first base station allocates the radio resource notified from the second base station or a radio resource partially including the notified radio resource, as a radio resource used for the downlink signal to the mobile station.

Abstract: A communication system capable of realizing a three-dimensional network of the fifth generation mobile communication with low propagation delay in a radio communication is provided. Abstract: Beamforming for radio communication (uplink) from a relay apparatus to a donor base station is performed accurately. A relay apparatus 20 is a relay apparatus 20 for relaying communication between a terminal device 10 and a donor base station 30 and includes: an amplitude and phase measurement unit 25 that measures an amplitude and phase of radio communication from the donor base station 30 to the relay apparatus 20; and a beam adjuster 27 that performs beamforming with respect to the donor base station 30 by adjusting amplitudes and phases from a plurality of antennas used at the relay apparatus 20 by measuring the amplitude and the phase by using the amplitude and phase measurement unit 25, wherein during a time slot when the terminal device 10 does not exist in a service area of the relay apparatus 20, the relay apparatus 20 detects no existence of the terminal device 10 in the service area and stops access radio, the amplitude and phase measurement unit 25 measures the amplitude and the phase, and the beam adjuster 27 performs the beamforming with respect to the donor base station 30, after which the access radio is restarted.
