The electronic still camera includes an image sensor for capturing a plurality of images of scenes and for producing image signals representative of the corresponding scenes; an analog-to-digital converter for digitizing the image signals to produce digital images; and a removable memory card for storing a plurality of digital image files corresponding to the digital images. The electronic still camera also includes an internal memory for storing at least one digital image to be displayed and a plurality of e-mail addresses; a processor for controlling the transfer of the digital images from the removable memory card to the internal memory and for producing a utilization file; and a display coupled to the internal memory for displaying at least one digital image. The electronic still camera further includes a user interface for selecting at least one e-mail address and for scrolling through the plurality of digital images stored on the removable memory card in order to display and select particular digital images to be transferred to the selected at least one e-mail address, wherein the utilization file includes the at least one selected e-mail address and the name of at least one digital image file to be transferred to the at least one selected e-mail address and the processor stores the utilization file on the removable memory card separate from the digital image files.
Abstract:
An information processing (camera) system comprises a radio communication terminal (medium) and an information appliance (camera) communicable the radio communication terminal (medium) within a predetermined distance. The information appliance (camera) comprises (an image pickup part for obtaining image data by photographing a subject,) a storing part for storing information peculiar to a user of the information appliance (camera), a radio communication part (medium reading part) (transmitting a predetermined radio signal and) reading information from the radio communication terminal (medium), and an authorization part for authorizing the information appliance (camera) user by collating information from the radio communication terminal read at the radio communication part (medium reading part) with information peculiar to the information appliance (camera) user stored in the storing part (and a record part for recording the information related to the camera user authorized at the authorization part while relating the information related to the camera user authorized at the authorization part to the image data photographed at the image pickup part). The radio communication terminal (medium) comprises a storing part for storing predetermined information and a transmission part for receiving a radio signal generated at the information appliance (the predetermined radio signal generated at a radio communication medium reading part of the camera) and transmitting the predetermined signal stored in the storing part as a radio signal.
Abstract:
A printer arrangement comprises a printing unit (1) receivable in a conveyance (132). A wireless data communications port is incorporated in the unit for enabling data to be printed to be transmitted to the printing unit in a wireless manner.
Abstract:
An accessory for a conveyance comprises a receiving element for receiving a data recording device, more particularly, a digital camera. An electrical connection is contained in the receiving element for engaging corresponding contacts of the data recording device to enable data to be downloaded from the device.
Abstract:
A portable printer-scanner device (10) includes a print-head arrangement and a scanner head. A pre-printed image (22) can be scanned by passing the device over it. The printer-scanner is movable by a user relative to a page (20) to print an image (22) stored during the scanning operation.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting status data via a short-range data transmission connection between at least two electronic devices. The method comprises forming a notification of at least one type of the status data in the first electronic device, forming a status message of the status data of the first electronic device in the first electronic device, and transmitting the status message via the short-range data transmission connection to the second electronic device.
Abstract:
In a photographic printing system, image data of an image plane size (ishot L, nullxnullnully) smaller than a print size (xnully) of a printer is transmitted from a portable telephone to the printer on an infrared communication basis. The transmitted image data is subjected to an expansion processing with expansion magnifications of 1.4 times to 1.8 times, and then converted to print data suitable for printing of the printer. A latent image is recorded on a recording medium in accordance with the print data. The recording medium is delivered out of the printer while it is developed. When a VGA size of image data is transmitted, the image data is directly printed out. When 1 mega size image data is transmitted, the image data is converted into image data of the number of pixels of the VGA size and then printed out.
Abstract:
An image printing system using a cellular phone with camera, which offers useful services for a user who possesses a cellular phone with camera but does not have means for easily printing out images taken by the cellular phone. The image printing system using a cellular phone with camera includes a means for connecting a cellular phone with camera to a portrait seal printing machine. Image data of an image taken by the cellular phone with camera is fed into the portrait seal printing machine, and the portrait seal printing machine produces and prints out portrait seals based on the image data.
Abstract:
A scanning system includes a scanner accessory which is operationally supported by a wider-purpose wireless handheld communications device. The communications device may be a personal digital assistant (PDA), a cellular phone, a combined PDA/cellular phone, or a similar device that enables wireless communications. The scanner accessory is adapted for freehand scanning and includes an image sensor, at least one navigator, and data transfer circuitry that is compatible with exchanging information with the communications device, including outgoing captured image information and incoming scan control information for controlling scanning operations by the scan accessory. Simultaneous with capturing image information by the image sensor, the navigator tracks the position of the image sensor relative to a document being scanned, so that the image information can be nullposition-taggednull to form an electronic image for display at the communications device. Alternatively, the scanning capability can be integrated into the wireless handheld communications device.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a digital camera DIY wireless photo print device. The device comprises a billing box, a wireless image-receiving unit, a processor, a monitor, and a photo printer. Wherein, the processor includes a plurality of control and IrDA protocol-processing programs to control the other units that are connected to the processor. The billing box provides a variety of payment methods. The monitor displays the two-way communication between the device and the user, and also displays the status of the image file transmission. The wireless image-receiving unit receives the optic signal of the image file, processes the photo-electronic transformation, and outputs an image file data to the processor. The processor controls the photo printer to print and output the photo.
