Abstract: The present invention discloses modified forms of plasmin with advantageous properties. As compared to their natural unmodified form, these variants exhibit significantly modulated kinetics in terms of delayed inhibition characteristics in the presence of specific inhibitors, such as α2-antiplasmin (α2-AP). These include PEG-conjugated thiol derivatives of truncated plasmin with potential clinical applications in various regimens of thrombolytic therapies.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a new, simple, two step synthesis of Indolmycin and its derivatives of formula (I), in 4-5 hours. Formula (I) wherein said process comprising the step of: 10 (a) reacting indole derivative with methyl magnesium bromide in a suitable solvent at a temperature in the range of 0-30° C. followed by adding ethyl epoxy butanone in a suitable solvent at −20° C. for a period of 1-2 hrs and maintaining the obtained reaction mixture for 1 hr at −20° C. to obtain a compound; and (b) passing the compound obtained at step a), base and N-methylated quinidine 15 through solid-solid continuous flow reactor for 1 minute to obtain the compound of formula (I).

Abstract: A DVET unit is disclosed that comprises a first syringe and a second syringe having a first plunger and a second plunger, adapted to execute a backward stroke and a forward stroke in the respective syringe. The DVET unit also includes a first valve and a second valve. Further, the first valve is closed and the second valve is opened to draw blood from the source and the specimen into the first syringe and the second syringe. Moreover, the first valve is opened and the second valve is closed to pump the blood, drawn during the backward stroke, from the first syringe and the second syringe into the specimen and the waste bin.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a switched reconfigurable multi-converter multi-source energy storage system configuration for electrified vehicles comprising of multiple dc/dc power converters, multiple energy sources, a mode selector switching module further comprising a plurality of controllable switches and a controller. A method of switching to reconfigure the multi-converter multi-source energy storage system during the dynamic events of variable power demand or regeneration in an electrified vehicle is disclosed. Furthermore, a power flow control scheme for executing the dynamic switching methods of reconfiguration to maneuver the flow of power within the system during different scenarios of forward power delivery or reverse power accumulation is disclosed. The controllable switches are methodically activated or deactivated to couple or decouple the energy sources to or from the input side of the dc/dc power converters by means of necessary activation or deactivation signals from the controller. Nevertheless, a fault tolerant control scheme is disclosed to ensure fail-safe operation of the switched reconfigurable system during the occurrence of fault in any of the dc/dc power converters.
