A method of analysis, analysis system, program product, apparatus, and method of supplying analysis of value incorporating the use of at least one data acquisition device, a central processor, and a communication link that is connectable between the data acquisition device and the central processor. The central processor is loaded with multivariate calibration models developed for predicting values for various properties of interest, wherein the calibration models are capable of compensating for variations in an effectively comprehensive set of measurement conditions and secondary material characteristics. As so configured, the calibration models can compensate for instrument variance without instrument-specific calibration transfer. Measurement results generated by the central processor can be transmitted to an output device of a user interface.

The invention relates to providing analysis services to a plurality of customers using a plurality of data acquisition devices connected to a central processor, by way of a communication link, which is loaded with at least one calibration model configured to generate a predicted value of property of interest from data acquired from a pluraity of samples using the data acquisition devices wherein the analysis services include transmitting the predicted value of a property of interest to a customer from which analysis services is requested.
Abstract:
A fabric membrane texture and manufacturing method thereof explores a texture of fabric membrane comprising of 3D fabric. An upper and a lower fiber texture layers of the 3D fabric membrane are stretched to build up an air sandwich through plural middle connecting fibers. The 3D fabric enables to execute the functions of anti-bump, thermal insulating, thermal conductivity, air permeability and elastic strength. Additionally, a polymer membrane is used to adhere to at least one of the 3D fabric to build up a better function of shielding, insulating, or the capacity of ambiance impedance. Besides, this polymer membrane adheres to the 3D fabric using the process of low-pressure fixation that is applied to the product enables to obtain the better distance of spacer.

An electrospinning apparatus is described. The electrospinning apparatus has a rotary nozzle mechanism that moves simultaneously along a non-linear track for forming polymeric fibrils, so that the polymeric fibrils can be piled to form a uniform web on a receiving carrier from any receiving angle. Therefore, the electrospinning apparatus resolves problems of the prior polymeric fibrils, such as various distribution and slow production rate. In addition, a method of manufacturing polymeric fibrils in the aforementioned electrospinning apparatus is further described.

A process for detecting low levels of a predetermined quality trait present in an inhomogeneously distributed particulate substrate involving the steps of: (a) providing a particulate substrate to be analyzed; (b) providing a spectrometer with an electromagnetic detector capable of performing spectroscopic measurements with electromagnetic radiation; (c) providing a rotatable sample holder having a transparent area through which electromagnetic radiation may pass; (d) providing a tumbling member located within the rotatable sample holder for tumbling the particulate substrate contained therein; (e) introducing the particulate substrate into the rotatable sample holder; (f) simultaneously rotating and tumbling the particulate substrate contained within the rotatable sample holder; and (g) activating the spectrometer, thereby illuminating the particulate substrate contained within the rotatable sample holder with electromagnetic radiation.

A method is provided for determining the rate of seed germination including the steps of (a) irradiating a selected number or quantity of seeds with light from an NIR spectrometer which is combined with or coupled to a pre-defined calibration model, wherein the light reflects to a detector; (b) collecting the reflected light from the detector; (c) converting the reflected light to an NIR spectrum; and (d) determining the rate of germination using the NIR spectrum obtained and the calibration model. Also provided is a cup for use with an NIR spectrometer including a rotating cylindrical member for receiving a selected number or quantity of seeds coupled to a transparent base through which NIR light is irradiated.
