    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a measurement device (1) for measuring a local parameter using an optical fiber element incorporating an array (100) of fiber Bragg gratings, FBGs, (101, 102, 103, 104), the measurement device (1) comprising: a semiconductor optical amplifier, SOA, (10), wherein the measurement device (1) is configured to be able to cause lasing at a respective lasing wavelength of said FBG (101, 102, 103, 104) of the FBG array (100); wherein the measurement device (1) further comprising: a filter element (40) configured with a wavelength dependent transmission coefficient; an output light sensing element (50) configured to detect said intensity of filtered light pulses from the filter element (40) and emit a corresponding electrical signal; processing means (60) for converting the electrical signal to the local parameter being measured for said one of the FBGs (101, 102, 103, 104) of the FBG array (100), and for providing the local parameter being measured. A measurement method (S100) is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A semiconductor device (1) is provided and a method of manufacturing the same. The method comprising providing a substrate (2) having formed thereon or therein a main junction (3). The method further comprises forming a junction termination structure (5) comprising a plurality of junction termination paths (8b-8g), wherein each path comprises an implanted region (9b-9g) having an implanted width. The step of forming a junction termination structure further comprises determining an individual width for each implanted width and a single first dopant dose which corresponds to an individual effective sheet charge concentration for each path such that, when said semiconductor device is in use, a desired electric field distribution over the second region of the semiconductor device is achieved. The step of forming a junction termination structure further comprises doping the implanted regions, each having the individual width, with dopants according to said first single dopant dose.

    Abstract: There is provided an electrochromic fixed image display and a method for manufacturing the display. The electrochromic fixed image display for displaying a predetermined symbol comprising a stack of layers of: a colour layer which is configured to provide a resulting colour contrast to the display when comparing its on-state and off-state; a first electrochromic electrode layer arranged behind said colour layer in a viewing direction; an electronically and ionically insulating symbol defining layer, arranged behind the first electrode layer, which comprises at least one opening defining the shape the predetermined symbol; an electrolyte, arranged behind the symbol defining layer, which fills and covers the opening of said symbol defining layer; and a counter electrode layer, arranged behind the electrolyte layer, comprising an electronically conductive material, wherein the electrolyte layer is in ionic contact with the first electrode layer and the counter electrode layer.
