Abstract: Various embodiments are disclosed that relate to serially displaying text on an electronic display. In some embodiments, a user device displays a notification marker/icon representing a notification event associated with an application by displaying the notification marker/icon with an icon representing the application. The notification marker/icon further represents a presence of content that is displayable using RSVP. The communications device receives a user interface action to select the notification event, and in response to the user interface action, displays textual content associated with the notification event in a designated display area using RSVP.

Abstract: The disclosure describes systems and methods related to moving object content that is enhanced with textual content presented using rapid serial visual presentation (“RSVP”). In one embodiment, video content is enhanced with RSPV content. Related embodiments provide systems and methods for displaying, creating, and editing such content. A particular embodiment provides for RSPV enhanced video previews. In another embodiment, augmented reality content is enhanced with RSVP content. In some embodiments, RSPV enhanced moving object content is provided on various end user electronic devices including smart phones, smart watches, and head mounted displays. These and other embodiments are disclosed further herein.

Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, computer program products, and systems are disclosed for tracking content use, the content including textual content that is displayable using RSVP. A particular embodiment identifies content, including textual content, to be displayed using RSVP on an electronic device to a user, displays that content to the user using RSVP, and generates content tracking information by tracking information items of the textual content that are displayed using RSVP. Abstract: Various embodiments are disclosed for optimizing serial display of text comprising Chinese characters (which appear in Chinese and in other languages). Some embodiments comprise parsing a Chinese text into display elements for serial display, each display element comprising a short phrase (generally one or two words) that is five or fewer characters in length. In some embodiments, this includes parsing the text into sentences and words and then analyzing sequences of words as part of parsing the text into short phrases (generally one or two words in length) for creating display elements that are five or fewer Chinese characters in length.
