    Abstract: A fluid treatment system is disclosed comprising a cross flow filter (110) comprising a feed portion, a concentrate portion, and a permeate portion. The treatment system further comprises a permeate storage apparatus (130) fluidly connected to the permeate portion and comprising a pressure boundary comprising an inner wall surrounding a pliable bladder (150), the pliable bladder fluidly separating a permeate chamber from an atmospheric chamber (170).     Abstract: Provided are media cartridges that have adjustable bypasses using linear movement, and systems and methods that use them. Aspects include an adjustable bypass filter cartridge where a treated stream and an adjusted non-treated stream combine prior to post-filtration and the percentage or ratio of treated the and the non-treated water is adjustable at the time of installation from the outside of the filter cartridge with a known or predictable level of bypass. Media cartridges comprise: an inlet in fluid communication with a feed chamber and an outlet in fluid communication with a mixing compartment; a media compartment containing a media; a bypass port in fluid communication with the feed chamber and the mixing compartment; and a bypass regulator that is adjustable by linear movement. Such cartridges maybe adjusted to meet the needs of a wide variety of end uses.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward methods, apparatuses and systems for operating at a fluid-maintenance site. In certain embodiments, the methods, apparatuses, and systems include a fluid filter, a sensor that provides parameters that characterize fluid flowing through the fluid filter, and a wireless interface circuit. The wireless interface circuit operates in a set-up mode and a normal-operation mode. In the set-up mode, the wireless interface circuit operates by communicating authentication data with a mobile data-processing device while the mobile data-processing device is proximate to the fluid-maintenance site. In the normal-operation mode, the wireless interface circuit operates by sending the parameters wirelessly, according to the authentication protocol, to a remotely-situated server via a wireless communication medium and a broadband connection.
