Abstract:
Equipment for recording and subsequently reproducing relief or stereoscopic images. A chamber is provided with a rectangular window in the front wall and a convergent optical system facing the window. The convergent optical system directs light rays coming from an object at infinity towards the sensitive surface of a film with convex or concave lenticular elements. The plane of the rectangular window is located substantially in the object focal plane of the optical system. A dark slide shutter curtain closes off the rectangular window. The sensitive surface of the film is placed in a removable frame for receiving at least one optical surface having cylindrical lenticular elements. The chamber is suitable for both recording and reproducing relief images.
Abstract:
The device allows one to photograph an object and to reproduce it by giving to the observer the feeling of seeing this object true-to-life and full-size. The device consists of an optical unit having at least an objective which forms, in each position taken by the unit, the image of an object being on an optical system directing the rays to a frame holding a cylindrical lenticular element film coated with a sensitive layer recording successively all composite images thus transmitted and which, during reproduction, will allow an observer to view a relief image of the object under the same conditions as a direct and actual view of this object. Such a device can be used for relief photography.
Abstract:
A METHOD FOR THE CHROMATIC ANALYSIS OF AN OBJECT INCLUDING FOCUSING A BEAM OF LIGHT FROM THE OBJECT ONTO A CONCAVE DIFFRACTION GRATING WHERE AN IMAGE IS FORMED, THE BEAM IS THEN DIRECTED TO A MASKED SPHERICAL MIRROR HAVING AT LEAST ONE APERATURE THEREIN, WHICH THEREBY SELECTS AT LEAST ONE BAND OF WAVELENGHTS WHICH IS REFLECTED ONTO A RECEIVING SURFACE. A CHROMATIC ANALYSIS DEVICE OF TO THE PRIMARY COLORS AND THE IMAGE IS RECONSTITUTED ON TO THE PRIMARY COLORS AND THE IMAGE IS RECONSTITUTED ON
THE SCREEN OF AN ELECTRON BEAM TUBE. A PLURALITY OF LENSES ARE DISPOSED BETWEEN THE MASKED MIRROR AND THE SCREEN FOR FOCUSING THE RECONSTITUTED IMAGE THEREON. THE DEVICE MAY BE USED FOR SPECTROPHOTOMETRY WHEREIN THE FOCUSING DEVICE EMPLOYED IS AN APERATURED DIAPHRAGM WITH A SPHERICAL MIRROR. THROUGHOUT, THE FOCUSING DEVICE AND THE MASKED MIRROR ARE LOCATED ON THE ROWLAND CIRCLE OF THE DIFFRACTION GRATING.
