Abstract: The present invention pertains to pneumatic compression articles that implement air-based inflation technology through a built-in network of air bladders. The pressure generated through pneumatic inflation creates adjustable and controlled resistance in addition to the benefits of traditional compression. The network of individual air cells that line the interior of the articles are inflated to create a combination of compression and resistance. This results in vasodilation and more blood flow, thereby promoting an increase in healing stressed or damaged tissue and eliminate soft tissue injury and to help promote the production of collagen production. Features enabling ischemic preconditioning, cryotherapy, and thermotherapy are also implemented. The present invention may also be incorporated into other articles, such as pants and swimsuits.

Abstract: The present invention is an exercise weight with incremental weight inserts. The ends of the weight will be hollow to fit the different weighted inserts inside. The weighted inserts are screwed in and stay in place with magnets. The handle of the weight will be oval shaped and tapered down to fit the natural grip of the hand. The weighted inserts will be a different weight on each side of the dumbbell to maintain the same overall weight percentage, starting with either a ¼th pound or 0.25 kg insert. The weights will come in different sizes for men and for women due to the differences in sizes of men's and women's hands. With the incremental weight inserts and the angled and narrowing handle, the user will be able to have a safe and effective workout.

Abstract: A bidirectional exercise glove is molded from elastic material in a shape such that the glove biases the wearer's hand to a relaxed position in which the wrist is cocked up 30.degree. and the fingers and thumb are positioned in their relaxed, equilibrium positions, approximately one-third closed. Rods embedded along the fingers of the glove resist flexion and extension of the fingers. Alternatively, flexion and extension of the fingers are resisted by thick molded regions formed integrally with the glove about the fingers.
